Great and safe location! Close to metro stations and bus stops, making it easy to reach tourist attractions. The staff were enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful. The city view wasn’t particularly impressive — mostly rooftops and some unsightly air conditioners — but that was fine. I booked an accessible room; unless you specifically need accessibility features, I wouldn’t recommend this type of room. The door closes very slowly due to the automatic mechanism, and the bathroom felt unnecessarily large for my needs. That said, overall cleanliness and hospitality were excellent!

Located in Lower Manhattan, the building is very old, so the bathroom has a smell of sewer, and there is the sound of garbage trucks operating downstairs at night and in the morning, which affects rest! The worst thing is that the light is very dim, and the room needs to turn on the lights during the day! There is a restaurant bar on the first floor downstairs, which is very lively. There will be noise on the lower floors. Overall, it feels like a pitfall and will not stay again

We had a good experience at Gild Hall. Only stayed for one night, but it had everything we needed. Big bed, clean bathroom, okay view. The location was great for us, as we were able to walk to everywhere, and the subway was only a couple blocks away which was extra convenient as well. However, there were lines for checking in and out (only one person was working the front desk) so that was a little annoying. We also couldn't check in until 4pm (pretty late compared to other hotels), with no options of a late checkout (had to leave by noon).

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Expo Exhibition Center, Mercedes-Benz Arena, Expo Culture Park, China Art Museum, and the Romance Park. Downstairs, you'll find the Expo Place mall, and nearby is Expo Source, offering a rich array of commercial and entertainment options. As expected from a Hyatt hotel, the service quality is consistently high. During check-in, I met Ryan, the duty manager, who thoughtfully upgraded me to a stylish river-view room on the top floor and also gifted us cocktail hour access and a complimentary Mini Bar. The hotel lobby, while small, is very well-designed with a sensible layout. The room was a standard size, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable – just the right firmness, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. My only minor complaints are that the bathroom is a bit small with only one sink, and for a new hotel of this caliber, I was surprised there wasn't a bidet. 

All other amenities are comprehensive. The pool and gym are on B1; the pool isn't huge but sufficient, while the gym is much more spacious with professional equipment – a dream for fitness enthusiasts. Regarding dining, breakfast is semi-buffet style with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Plus, you get to overlook the Pudong riverside, so the views are undeniably stunning.

Overall, the quality control of Hyatt hotels remains consistently stable. This hotel is suitable for business travelers, families with children, or couples looking for a leisure stay. If you're coming for an exhibition, a concert, or just visiting Shanghai, it's a highly recommended place to stay.

The hotel's location and staff service were excellent. It was very convenient to get to the palace, old town, and various restaurants. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including Chinese, Japanese, Western cuisine, as well as many pubs and cafes. A department store is just a 5-minute walk away for shopping. The hotel facilities are very automated and new. However, the space layout is a bit impractical: the bathroom door blocks the toilet door from opening fully, and the wardrobe is completely open-concept with only one shelf, a single hanging rod, and two drawers. One of the drawers is mostly taken up by the safe. Long coats and dresses cannot be hung vertically. I suggest the hotel move the ironing board from the hanging area to the bathroom, as it currently takes up valuable hanging space. The bar and terrace are fantastic, with great space and location. You can enjoy beautiful Madrid sunsets and evening glow from there.
