I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The check-in process was very fast and efficient, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

I originally booked a double room, but to my surprise, I was given a complimentary upgrade to a quadruple room. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It even had two TVs, which was a nice bonus. The restroom was also large and featured a bathtub, making the stay even more comfortable.

Whenever I encountered any issues, the hotel staff responded promptly and resolved them efficiently.

The location is excellent—only about a 5-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. There are plenty of convenient dining and shopping options nearby, including McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, and 7-Eleven.

The breakfast was another highlight of the stay, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes.

Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

Staying at the Kindness Hotel Station East Jiuru was a great experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located not far from Kaohsiung Main Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent, so it didn't really affect my sleep at night. The staff were friendly and efficient with both check-in and check-out. The first floor offers complimentary coffee, tea, ice cream, and snacks, and the breakfast selection is extensive, offering excellent value for money. For its price, I would highly recommend it for both business trips and leisure stays. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Kaohsiung.

We were extremely impressed with our stay at this hotel! We absolutely loved the unlimited snacks available throughout the day, including coffee, tea, junk foods, and especially the ice cream. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary 24-hour laundry service, which was very convenient and added great value to our experience. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations with its wide variety of delicious dishes. Our room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, providing the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The hotel's location was also excellent and convenient for exploring the area. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding amenities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Location is great, just 5 min walk from Formosa subway station. Rooms are decent size, though the furniture are  a little aged. The air con is quite erratic. Breakfast has limited variety but tasted great. Perhaps the most commendable feature of this hotel is the free ice cream, coffee and snacks bar at the restaurant for guests. Nice place for us to gather and have supper.

Even though the hotel isn't located right by an MRT station, its facilities, service, and cleanliness are all excellent. What truly impressed me was their incredible generosity – not only do they provide breakfast, but they also offer late-night snacks, treats, and ice cream! On top of that, the washing machines and dryers are a very thoughtful amenity for travelers.

Great location less than 20 minutes from KHH airport. It is within 8 minutes walking distance from SOGO for those who love to shop department stores.  

There are 7-11s ( more than one!) Family Marts and a PX Mart (grocery store) along each road.  Very convenient.  

The drinks at 7-11 will be cheaper priced than Family Mart and PX Mart and sometimes they will have a BOGO on select items ( I got an extra baby wipe pack by sheer luck).

The Family Mart will have more unique items (ex Kombucha, health teas etc). The food selection for both places will be a bit limited for grab and go eats.  Think sweet pastries and snacks.  They do have some sandwiches but not super healthy if you are vegetarian.

The hotel has complementary breakfast that starts at 6:30am ends at 10am.  It is a buffet the fills up the entire room.  There is a wonderful mix of local foods, one Western style pot.

There is a small salad bar, fruit bar, coffee/tea and a small short order cook that will fry up 4 items (eggs, scallion onion omelette, turnip cakes). There is an other side has at least 10 varieties of local foods.  

The quality is great! Not too oily, 2 congee pots ( regular and Hong Kong Style).  Fruits include what is season (Guava, apples, watermelon) and oranges, bananas.

I will warn you about the late night snack (Dim Sum) buffet.  Located on same floor and it starts at 7pm.  That is a busy mad house. The line to queue up starts earlier and it will go down the hall to the stairwell.  

Lots of tour buses come to this location and tour groups will flood in each week during season.  I went during early April for 9 days.  

I would go to breakfast at 8 am and skipped the nighttime crush. Restaurants are readily available all around and very affordable.

This hotel comes with complimentary laundry DIY and laundry powder soap.  Make sure you write your room number on the dry erase placard and stick it on each machine you use.  Otherwise another guest may accidentally throw their items in and use the machine.  The dryers are on top so hard to see what’s on the bottom.  

There is a free lounge in the lobby that has complimentary ice cream, coffee/tea and jasmine flavored gelatin cups.  You can sit there all day if you like and sip on a free espresso or other drink.

This hotel comes with a lot of amenities at a reasonable rate— I will stay here again next time.

The hotel's location is really convenient, close to the Light Rail Glory Pier station, and there are some restaurants nearby too. I got a room upgrade at check-in, which was a nice bonus! On the first floor, they offer complimentary snacks, ice cream, and cookies, though seating is a bit limited. The room itself was clean and tidy, though the lighting in the sofa and coffee table area was a bit dim. The soundproofing was excellent; I barely heard any noise at night. The AC temperature was just right, and the water pressure was stable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with both Chinese and Western options, plus a live cooking station. Overall, it was a great stay, and I'd definitely consider coming back!

staff are well trained and polite, provided good service 

provides breakfast, afternoon tea and supper. hotel is frequently used to host tourists staff will advise guests to avoid peak hour timings at breakfast and super service.

room is clean, and well equipped with amenities. do bring own toothbrush and toothpaste, razor as they do not provide in accordance to taiwan policies on disposable items.

only issue is that the soundproofing done between floors is not as good

The social area downstairs is great, offering coffee, tea, and ice cream, which is a nice touch. The breakfast soup changes daily and is always delicious. The room was also very clean and overall, the stay was very pleasant.
However, in some rooms, the toilet seat doesn’t fit properly and moves when you sit down, which can be uncomfortable. I also really appreciated the friendly smiles from the front desk staff.

The service was great, and the breakfast was delicious and healthy. The 24-hour coffee and ice cream were a nice bonus. However, it's an older hotel, so the room was quite small and the facilities were a bit dated. The bed frame also creaked a lot...

Checked in at 3 PM, arrived at 2:45 PM. While we couldn't get into our room early, we were able to relax in the restaurant and enjoy complimentary coffee, drinks, ice cream, and snacks. The staff were all very friendly. Even though there were many guests checking in that day, they still reminded us about the timings for the late-night snack and breakfast. The food was very generous, essentially equivalent to a half-board stay (dinner and breakfast included). The room wasn't huge, but it had all the essentials, though the facilities did show a bit of age. For less than 4000 on a Saturday night for two people, the value for money is, as always, excellent! 👍 Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at Kindness Hotel this time around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was just the right firmness – I slept like a baby. The staff were all incredibly friendly and polite, making me feel right at home. The biggest surprise was the free snacks and late-night supper; they really go above and beyond with the little details. The location is also super convenient with easy access to transportation, making it perfect for either business or leisure. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I get the chance, truly highly recommended!

One of the better (if not the best) hotel chains I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’ve visited Taiwan about 10 times and stayed here for 2 nights, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience.

They provide free bicycles (3 hours limit), which is useful for getting around Hualien. Breakfast has a good spread, and there are complimentary ice cream and drinks available in the lobby around the clock. We didn’t realise they also offer late-night supper from 7pm to 9pm, which was honestly as good as a proper dinner buffet, with a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes and even live entertainment.

The room was spacious and well maintained, with no hygiene concerns. Shower water pressure was good. Noise levels were generally fine, though louder sounds like furniture movement could occasionally be heard.

The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store, restaurants, KTV, and a cinema, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. You can also cycle to the night market within 15 minutes, making it super easy to get around the main area without getting a taxi.

Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money. While a gym would be nice, I would definitely consider staying at other branches on future trips.
