The room was quite clean. However, since they collaborate with Chinese software, why isn't there a Chinese interface available? Only Japanese and English are offered. There's no front desk; it's self check-in, which was straightforward. But at the end, you have to do a video call and can only speak English. This could be a hassle for those who don't speak English. Everything else was fine, just this one issue.

This hotel is great overall. The location is excellent – Ueno Park, Tokyo University, and Akihabara are all within walking distance. It's also very convenient for dining and shopping. There are two major stations nearby, making travel super easy. We're a family of three adults, and this room type was perfect for us. The room comes with kitchenware and a microwave, so you can easily prepare some groceries from the supermarket.

Be sure to read the terms and conditions before booking, as this is a fully self-service apartment-style hotel, meaning there are no staff on-site. Make sure to pre-register your passport information and other details before you arrive. That way, you can just scan a QR code at the hotel and check in directly, which is incredibly convenient.

The only downside is the breakfast; it's really not worth booking.

I had an early flight out of Haneda on my second day, so I booked a hotel in Kamata. The main reason was its proximity to JR Kamata Station. However, it's quite a walk to Keikyu Kamata Station, easily 20 minutes or more. I've stayed at Minn hotels a few times, and this Kamata location was the cheapest, and pretty good overall. The bunk beds were comfortable enough. The area around the hotel is mostly residential, so there aren't many convenience stores. But the area around Kamata Station itself is very developed, so you can find anything you need there. It seems this hotel doesn't provide complimentary disposable toothbrushes.

The hotel's location is good, making it convenient for early morning flights. It's a fully self-service apartment-style hotel, meaning there's no front desk and no room service. Communication is only possible via a tablet at the front desk, using either English or Japanese. If your English isn't strong, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. To make matters worse, the tablet was constantly playing music, making it difficult to hear, so communication wasn't very smooth. Since it's an unstaffed hotel, there's no luggage storage service. We arrived around 2:40 PM, but the system insisted we wait until 3:00 PM to receive the room code (even though the room was already clean; we watched a temporary worker finishing up). So, I recommend not arriving early. I doubt I'll choose this place again.

The hotel has a great location with multiple public transport options nearby, making it easy to get around. There's a large supermarket right outside the hotel entrance where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, and groceries. The rooms also come with a small kitchen, which is perfect for cooking your own meals, making it a great choice for families traveling with children.

Stayed in a quadruple bunk room on July 27, 2026. Taking the bus was incredibly convenient, dropping us right at the hotel entrance. Across the street, there's a FamilyMart, and nearby there's a 7-Eleven and a large supermarket. Near Anamori-inari Station, there's also a drugstore (tax-free available) and a Lawson. There's a laundromat and restaurants in the vicinity too. Upon arrival, after remotely verifying our details with the hotel staff, we received the main door and room access codes, making entry and exit very easy and simple – no worries about losing a key card. The bedding and pillows were comfortable, and the air conditioning was individually adjustable. Basic cooking tools were also provided, which was great for simple self-catering! We were able to smoothly connect to our connecting flight from Haneda the next day!

The room was spacious with well-defined functional areas. The hotel didn't offer many special amenities, lacking toothbrushes, toothpaste, and disposable slippers, but it did provide kitchenware. Overall, it's good value for the price. The area around the hotel was very quiet. The windows were too high to see outside, which felt a bit confining.

Easy transfer to disney resort, just take train from nishi kasai to kasai station (1 stop), then take the bus straight to disney, easy peasy

Love it

We were a family of four on a trip, and we booked this place last minute. It was a bit far from the station. We visited with our 20-something and teenage children. It was clean, and the bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable. Shampoo, conditioner, a washing machine, etc., were provided, and the bathroom was pleasant. There was also a mini-kitchen with dishes. Plenty of charging ports made it easy to charge devices, though a power adapter was needed. The surroundings were quiet. The station was a bit far, requiring a walk. There were small restaurants nearby; we just picked one and the food was delicious. If you have younger children, I'd recommend staying closer to the station. We also took a bus to a shopping mall. The only downside was that the hairdryer was very weak; it took ages to dry my hair. This was particularly challenging for my daughter and me, who have thick hair. It wasn't an issue for the men. My teenage daughter was the only one who found the walk to the accommodation tiring. Considering it was a last-minute booking, the room was decent.

Although the location is in Asakusa, which is quite far from Shinjuku and Harajuku, its advantage is its proximity to the subway, right outside the hotel entrance. The hotel is at a crossroads with Lawson, 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, McDonald's, and Aeon all nearby. It's also only a 15-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple.

The hotel rooms are very spacious, perfect for a family trip. However, my only complaint is that for an 8-day stay, they only clean once. For towels, tissues, and such, you have to go to the front desk and ask a staff member via video call, which isn't very convenient or friendly!

It was such a comfortable and practical stay, especially if you are travelling in a group or with family.

The Japanese-style layout was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The room had enough space to open luggage comfortably. The room came with practical amenities like a small kitchenette and washing machine.

The area is quieter compared to central Kyoto, which made nights peaceful.

💡 Self Check-in
It’s more of a serviced apartment style with self check-in, so don’t expect a traditional hotel lobby vibe — but everything was smooth and efficient.

Our group needed a kitchen since Japanese food isn't always to everyone's taste, and we stumbled upon this place. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so impressed – it was even better than we expected! I got a lot of compliments for choosing such a great place, haha. The facilities are genuinely amazing!!! I'd definitely want to stay here again. Every time I've been to Japan before, even with the subway, my accommodations were always a bit of a distance, but this time it was only a 5-minute walk!!!! ❤️ And the convenience store was close by too!!

This hotel deserves full marks! Their meticulous service really won me over. Next time I'm in this city, I won't waste time looking for other hotels; I'm definitely staying here again! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality accommodation experience!

The room, bathroom, and shower room were all spacious, allowing us to relax comfortably! The building also had a lovely Kyoto-esque feel to it. There were complimentary drinks in the lobby. Just a heads-up that pajamas and toothbrushes aren't provided, but I knew that beforehand so it wasn't an issue. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's close to the shopping street, which was great for exploring in the evenings and mornings! I'd love to try a different room type next time.

Minn Kiyomizu Gojo is an excellent option for travelers looking for a clean, spacious, and apartment-style stay in Kyoto. It is especially suitable for families or groups who want extra space and convenient amenities while exploring the city

The room is well-equipped, clean, and hygienic. There's no room service, and you have to self-check-in (if you're bothered by this or think you can't manage it, don't book). The surrounding environment is quite nice, located in a quiet alley. The location is excellent, 500m from Keihan Main Line Sanjo Station and 700m from Hankyu Kawaramachi Station. It's very convenient to walk to Yasaka Shrine, Kamo River, and Shijo shopping street. Walking to Kiyomizu-dera and Ninenzaka is also not too far. There are many restaurants nearby, and overall, they feel more 'authentic' than those on Shijo shopping street.

The location is a great walking distance from Shin Osaka Station. The room is big enough to accommodate our family of 5. It's like a home away from home vibe, we were able to cook our own food during the days we were not able to roam around due to heavy rain. The only thing that needs improvement is the bed. The hardest bed  that my back laid down and the bed spring almost protruded and almost touched my back. Over all it is good, the only downside is the bed.

I used to stay at my relatives' place in Tsukamoto when I came to Osaka. This time, due to certain reasons, I needed to stay outside, so I found this Juso shopping area within walking distance of my relatives' home! It's fantastic~

The shopping street is also super lively, and it's a short walk to the station. It's not noisy at night, and the guesthouse is very clean!

If I have the chance to come to Osaka again, I'll definitely choose to stay here!

However, there are two minor drawbacks:
1. For self-check-in, I suggest adding more language options, either Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese.
2. There are too few washing machines. Although not everyone stays for many consecutive days like we did, I still recommend having a separate washing machine and dryer in each room!
