From the outside, it looked like a nondescript commercial building, but inside, it was a surprisingly comfortable and legitimate hotel. The front desk was unmanned, and check-in involved scanning a QR code on a tablet. However, as I don't have a Japanese phone number and my eSIM wasn't connecting well, I ran into trouble checking in. I was able to get assistance via a video call terminal nearby, and I then received an email with my room number, key code, and lobby door access code. All doors, except the main street-facing entrance, are accessed via a passcode.

I stayed in a bunk-bed room on the 4th floor. With a refrigerator, induction hob, crockery, kettle, and sink, it felt well-equipped not just for my one-night stay, but also for longer visits. The shower and washlet toilet were spotless, and there were no strange odors from the towels or pillows. I didn't have time to use it, but the presence of a projector was an interesting touch. It always strikes me how uniquely Japanese and clever it is that the toilet flush water is reused for the sink above the tank! My only complaint was that the duvet was too heavy.

The hotel's location is good, making it convenient for early morning flights. It's a fully self-service apartment-style hotel, meaning there's no front desk and no room service. Communication is only possible via a tablet at the front desk, using either English or Japanese. If your English isn't strong, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. To make matters worse, the tablet was constantly playing music, making it difficult to hear, so communication wasn't very smooth. Since it's an unstaffed hotel, there's no luggage storage service. We arrived around 2:40 PM, but the system insisted we wait until 3:00 PM to receive the room code (even though the room was already clean; we watched a temporary worker finishing up). So, I recommend not arriving early. I doubt I'll choose this place again.

Pros:
The location is quiet and very convenient, being close to the subway station. The facilities were excellent, including a kitchenette and a washing machine.

Cons:
There was no traditional front desk service; we had to self-check-in via a mobile app, which was a bit inconvenient. We booked a triple room with two beds and a sofa, and we were quite surprised to find that we had to make up the sofa bed ourselves. It would be much appreciated if the hotel could have it prepared in advance for future stays.

The room is spacious and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen including cutlery, utensils, and knives. There are several large supermarkets nearby with friendly prices, offering a one-stop solution for all your daily needs. It's very convenient to walk to both the subway station and the bus stop for Disneyland. Disneyland is a 20-minute drive away with no transfers needed. The only downside was that during our three-night stay, there was no housekeeping service to replenish trash bags, bath towels, or tissues. We had to contact staff to request them. I suggest that the room be stocked with these supplies according to the actual number of nights booked.

From what I got at a low price for two Adults was astonishing in its own right, I had a room with 6 TWIN BEDS. 

There was a lot of room that was comfortable with accommodations via shower/ kitchen and washer-dryer, while I could’ve booked for multiple nights… 

The short time I had with it was worthwhile and perhaps at a different Minn Hotel series, I could get the same; better experience next time I visit.

The hotel's location is great, with convenient subway access. The room is also quite spacious; although it can accommodate four people, I think it's perfect for two. You won't end up bickering, unlike in some Tokyo hotels where rooms are so tiny you argue every day... 

There wasn't a proper noodle bowl among the cutlery, which made it a bit inconvenient for cooking instant noodles. 

There's a small fresh food supermarket nearby, along with Lawson and 7-Eleven, and even a drugstore, so it's quite convenient. 

I booked for four nights, and on the last night, the TV turned itself on around 2 AM! It scared the living daylights out of me 😱. I kept imagining things until morning – it was a bit creepy 😱😭😱😭

Hello. The hotel is located in the historic Asakusa district. It's about a kilometer's walk from the metro. There are plenty of shops selling tableware. There's a street with cafes and restaurants. You can sample the food of Okinawa and northern Japan. The Rox bath complex is also nearby. Overall, the location is good. Now about the hotel in general. We had a superior room with two beds and three tatami mats. The pros: a dryer in the room, but the downside is that it's located in the hallway and is loud. The TV is Smart, which is good. There are enough towels, and the shower is excellent. Finally, I'll write about the beds. If you have back or neck problems, I kindly ask you to sleep on the tatami mats! The pillows and mattress were the most disappointing. In conclusion, the hotel is comfortable, but the beds are not.

Good stay for families. Affordable and in a convenient location. While the space is big it feels a little bit worn but overall a good budget spot for families

This was my first stay with the Minn group, and it was a condominium-style room that felt brand new. It had a large table, a kitchen, and a shower room – the facilities were perfect! The only slight disappointment was finding a previous guest's bento box left in the refrigerator. Also, while you can store luggage, it's the type where you'd typically lock it yourself, but there was no key provided. If that bothers you, I'd recommend renting a locker. Despite those minor points, I would definitely like to stay with the Minn group again. Thank you!

I booked Min Asakusa with some hesitation because it's a relatively new place, so there weren't many reviews on Naver. But I'm glad I did!

The hotel is close to Kuramae Station and was easy to find. Asakusa itself was about a 15-minute walk further from the hotel, which I actually preferred because it was much quieter than the bustling area right in front of Asakusa Station.

The room was really well-equipped. It had a microwave, coffee pot, a single induction burner, dish soap, cups, and plates, which came in very handy during my stay. The washing machine was a lifesaver! I was able to catch up on laundry during the last two nights of my 4-night, 5-day trip, which was fantastic. There were plenty of hangers, so drying clothes was easy (and they dried super fast because the room was quite dry! 😅).

What I really loved, especially traveling with a young child, was that the beds were low to the floor without frames, so I didn't have to worry about falls. This was our top priority when choosing accommodation, so we were very satisfied.

In the bathroom, there was shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. I think toothbrushes could be bought separately at the lobby. There weren't any body towels, so we just used the ones we brought from our previous hotel. There were plenty of regular towels, though, and they even provided a hairdryer, a curling iron, and a flat iron! The hairdryer was really powerful, which was a plus.

Another great thing was the convenience of having a Lawson, FamilyMart, and 7-Eleven all within walking distance. Also, I can't remember the name, but there's a small tonkatsu restaurant close by that seemed to have a lot of regulars – it turned out to be an unexpectedly delicious spot!

Oh, and Don Quijote Asakusa store is about a 15-minute walk away. I woke up early around 6 AM one day and decided to go, and it was perfect for shopping since there was hardly anyone there. The night before, it was so packed it was hard to even see the items. Just a heads-up: the medicine section opens at 8 AM, so keep that in mind if you need eye drops or other pharmaceuticals.

I was quite worried before going because of the lack of blog reviews, but my worries were completely unfounded – I had a thoroughly satisfying stay. Some other reviews mentioned a sewer smell, but we didn't notice any strange odors. Overall, it was very clean. The bedding was comfortable, and the transportation was decent. I highly recommend this place for families traveling with young children.

The range hood isn't very powerful, so I wouldn't recommend overcooking, but it's sufficient for most dishes.

The room is spacious, with two bedrooms and a large dining table, making mealtimes feel more ceremonial.

Two supermarkets are within walking distance, making it convenient to buy cooking ingredients and fruit.

The subway station isn't too far away either.

The room is well-equipped with a bidet toilet seat and a bathtub.

A small reminder: if you're going to use tableware, remember to wash it all upon check-in. The previous guest hadn't washed it properly, and my son almost used it directly, thankfully they noticed.

Check-in is supposed to be self-service, but luckily a young, clean-looking male staff member kindly helped us get to the control panel; otherwise, it would have been a bit complicated.

We stayed four nights and didn't have the room cleaned. I suggest that those staying for multiple nights wash and dry their own towels while out sightseeing during the day. When I went out, I saw someone leaving their packed trash and dirty towels on the ground outside their door. When I came back, I saw someone else with a bag containing towels hanging on their doorknob, so I copied them. But the towels never came back, so I had to ask for more towels and also for more trash bags, which they gave us.

The room is well-equipped, clean, and hygienic. There's no room service, and you have to self-check-in (if you're bothered by this or think you can't manage it, don't book). The surrounding environment is quite nice, located in a quiet alley. The location is excellent, 500m from Keihan Main Line Sanjo Station and 700m from Hankyu Kawaramachi Station. It's very convenient to walk to Yasaka Shrine, Kamo River, and Shijo shopping street. Walking to Kiyomizu-dera and Ninenzaka is also not too far. There are many restaurants nearby, and overall, they feel more 'authentic' than those on Shijo shopping street.

🛏️ Room Size:
I stayed here with my family of five, and the room was much more spacious than I expected. The layout was very well organized, with different areas clearly divided. Everything looked exactly like the pictures.

📍 Location:
The hotel is very close to the central Gion area, which is very convenient. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the train station, so not far at all. There are convenience stores along the way, which made everything even easier.

🧺 Amenities:
The amenities were very complete. There was a washing machine and dryer, and even laundry detergent was provided. Although I had to run the dryer twice for the clothes to be fully dry, it was still very convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped with cookware, dishes, and a kettle, even though I didn’t try using the stove.

⚠️ Recommendation:
There are two hotels with the same name located close to each other, so be careful not to go to the wrong one.

👃 Downside:
Since the hotel is next to a restaurant, when I entered the room there was a strong grilled fish smell coming in from the window. Even though the room had an air purifier, it didn’t really help with the smell.

Very good location, opposite a metro and also had two convenience stores nearby which was useful. It was more of an online service but we did see the occasional stuff in the reception area. There is waiting area with free matcha/tea which was lovely and also a luggage area where could store our bags securely as there were locks there.
The room was very small unless you pay the extra for the bigger room but we managed to make do. The tv was big and pulled out so we can sit and connect our Netflix and chill in the evening which was nice. Overall lovely stay :)

The room was comfortable, and the transportation was quite convenient. Housekeeping is only provided for stays of multiple days or more, making it suitable for couples traveling together.

[Features] There is no staff at the hotel's non-check-in time. You can lock your luggage on the railings in the lobby. You can help the clerk by yourself. The clerk is very good in English. You need to scan the code to fill in the check-in information before the clerk can confirm it in person. [Advantages] The hotel is very new, the corners of the room are cleaned spotlessly; the shower is particularly comfortable, the shower has the effect of a spa; the hotel lobby has a dining table, microwave oven, beverage self-service vending machine and a counter for snacks; 9 minutes walk from Nijo Station, the hotel is surrounded by residential areas, the environment is quiet and tidy, there are many small and beautiful restaurants. [Disadvantages] The window of the room is a wall, the ventilation is not very good, and the air conditioner is a bit stuffy. Turning over on the sofa bed will creak and sleep uncomfortable; cleaning will not clean every day, and you can go to the front desk to get a new towel.

We had a pleasant 1-night stay in Osaka as a family of 4. The room was clean and equipped with 2 double beds, with enough space for all of us to stay comfortably.

The location was convenient, and the check-in process was smooth despite there being no on-site lobby staff, remote assistance was available, and the instructions provided at the lobby were clear and easy to follow.

Overall, a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free stay.

Booked a quad room for a family trip, and everything was quite good. However, looking back, it would have been more convenient to book two separate rooms, as the price was actually pretty similar.

The location is also decent, with a subway station about 500 meters away. Downstairs, there are many convenience stores and a Don Quijote nearby. I didn't notice it before, but the night before checkout, I realized there were convenient and affordable places for toiletries, water, breakfast, and fruit.
