Before my trip, I spent a long time deliberating on hotels and finally settled on Chuan Shang Xing. The main reason was its location, which is incredibly convenient for exploring the Taoxichuan market. To my surprise, when I arrived, I was absolutely blown away! I was extremely satisfied with the hotel's design, service, and location. Not only is Taoxichuan a great place to wander, but the hotel itself offers many photogenic spots, giving off a 'hidden gem in the city' vibe. I am very pleased. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jingdezhen.

The customer service was great and they even upgraded my room. Other than the price being a bit high, there are no other complaints. It's incredibly convenient being located right in Taoxichuan. You can go back to rest when you're tired and then come out to explore again. It's perfect for families. The ceramics in Taoxichuan are all of excellent quality, and a bit pricier, focusing on design and handmade craftsmanship! Absolutely wonderful!

A great experience overall.

✅ Pros:
1️⃣ Excellent service.
2️⃣ Beautiful environment. (Pics 1-5)
3️⃣ Great location. (Direct access to Taoyangli from the back door).

❤️ What I liked most is that the hotel's front desk staff were like NPCs in a game; you had to use specific dialogue to trigger certain events, like side quests:

[Side Quest One: Get a complimentary cocktail 🍸 (Pic 6).]
[Side Quest Two: Ask the front desk for a Mid-Autumn Festival gift, and you'll receive a cup.]
[Side Quest Three: Collect stamps from any 7 of the 9 scenic area hotels for a chance to get a blind box. (Unfortunately, I only got 5 stamps.)]

⚠️❗️ Cons:
1️⃣ Breakfast was very average. Super average. Seriously.
2️⃣ The hotel-provided guided tour of the Imperial Kiln Museum was scheduled for 10 AM, and I assumed the meeting point was in the hotel lobby. It turns out it was at the museum entrance. (The front desk only told me the time, not the location or any other important details, and it took us almost half an hour to find the guide.)

The hotel is right in the Taoyangli scenic area, very close to the West Gate. I chose the package that included attraction tickets, and I genuinely went to Taoyangli every day, exploring all the sights. Walking through the narrow alleys felt really pleasant. The restaurant's breakfast spread was abundant, with a noodle station and freshly ground coffee. The hotel room was quite spacious. Although I noticed a stain on the bedsheet of the smaller bed, the staff quickly came to take care of it. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the empty space around the fire sprinkler heads on the hotel ceiling, which made me worry about dust falling from above. Also, the toilet lid would open by itself when no one was in the bathroom. Overall, I was satisfied and would choose this hotel again if I have the chance.

Excellent location, right next to the Taoyangli scenic area. The 5th-floor observation deck offers superb views. There's a convenient small gate for accessing the scenic area, but you need staff assistance to open and close it. The deluxe room is quite spacious, and breakfast is very generous.

The text message was misleading, making us think a double bed meant two separate beds. Since we were just here for tourism, we didn't want to argue much. The room had a strange smell, and the front desk service was quite disappointing. There were 13 of us in total (12 adults + 1 child), and when we asked for bottled water around 9 PM, the front desk said they had already given us 8 bottles during the day, implying we'd already received enough. Seriously, don't they think people get thirsty? Isn't Jingdezhen hot? We mainly wanted water to put in the fridge.

The inn was newly renovated, but the signage within the park was lacking, making it difficult to find. The room was small, with a small desk and a balcony, which should be nice in winter. The beds were new and firm, but very wide, about 1.5 meters, the widest I've ever slept on in a hostel. There were many rooms, spread across two or three buildings, with a long hallway. You had to walk to another building to get to the restroom. The park was still under renovation, so there were occasional construction noises, but not often. The public area was far away in Building B, semi-open-air, without air conditioning or people around, and lacked any atmosphere.

My stay was very satisfying. The hotel environment is clean and elegant. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in process was quick. The room was exceptionally clean, and they even upgraded me to a room with a balcony. The facilities are relatively new, the bedding is comfortable, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. Overall, it's a quiet place, ensuring a good night's sleep. Before leaving, I even bought one of the hotel's pillows because I found it incredibly comfortable.

In Jingdezhen, I stayed in a 'red brick art museum,' and one I could actually sleep in! 🏛️

Brothers and sisters, if you're planning a trip to Jingdezhen, take my advice: skip the ordinary hotels and stay inside a ceramics factory.

This time, I stayed at the Taoyi Chaosheng Hotel, located in Phase II of the Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Block. It's converted from an old ceramics factory, retaining those iconic red brick factory structures. Walking down the corridor, with its arched ceiling, red brick walls stretching to the end, and soft light cast by spherical lamps – every step felt like strolling through an art gallery. It's perfect for snapping industrial-style photos without having to compete with other tourists for a spot.

I booked the Chaosheng Family Suite. At 53-55 square meters, with one 1.8-meter king bed and two 1.2-meter single beds, it was more than enough space for four people. It had panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor viewing balcony where you could see the old chimney bathed in a warm golden glow by the evening sun. The room came with a mini-fridge, super convenient for chilling drinks. The most practical amenities, though, were the self-service laundry room and gym, and even a billiards table and a table tennis room. After a day of exploring, playing a few rounds here was way more fun than just cooping up in the room and scrolling on my phone.

Its location is genuinely convenient. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the Taoxichuan Cultural and Creative Block, so you can easily stroll back after visiting the market at night. It's also just over a ten-minute drive from Jingdezhen North Railway Station. Plus, the Taodi Food Market is right next door, so you don't have to worry about meals.

Let's talk about some practical points:
- Opened recently in 2023, so all the facilities are new and spotlessly clean everywhere.
- The hotel doesn't provide breakfast, but there are many breakfast eateries nearby. A bowl of Jingdezhen rice noodles with pickles and chili is far more delicious than any hotel buffet.
- The front desk isn't huge, but the service is good; they respond quickly to requests.
- If you're not overly particular about accommodation conditions, the value for money is truly excellent.

This isn't a luxurious five-star hotel, but it's a hotel with soul, great design, and a comfortable stay. You get to sleep in an art museum for the price of a budget hotel. When you come to Jingdezhen, this is the kind of place you should stay.

We stayed here for two nights in a balcony king room. The room was spacious and very clean. The mixed rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. The hotel is located inside the scenic area, very close to the West Gate, and has a small entrance leading directly into the scenic spot. We had a lot of luggage, and one of the hotel staff (I forget if it was Mr. No. 11 or Mr. No. 1) helped us carry it. You can take a shuttle to Parking Lot No. 4, which is in a good location. It's close to both Taoxichuan and the Sculpture Porcelain Factory. We also visited Yao Yi Yao and Guangming Porcelain Factory.

Xiao Jin provided excellent service! She was incredibly enthusiastic, helping us pack our belongings onto a luggage cart and checking out with our dog. She was a huge help, and we'll definitely be back to stay again if we have the chance.

Lovely hotel. Enjoyed it so much, we stayed another night.

Hotel location was great. Apart from a fly sitting in the corner of the room, the room was spotless. Water pressure for the shower was stable and power acceptable. Decor was very nice.

The only comment I have is houskeeping needs to improve. There was a dead fly in the corner of the room throughout our 3/4 day stay and never got cleaned away. They also need to leave sufficient facial tissue and toilet paper and drinking water in the room without having to make guests ask.

The room was clean, and the toilet was smart. The shower water pressure was good, but it overflowed easily. My room was upgraded to include a small balcony with fresh air. It was a bit foggy outside when I woke up in the morning. The bed was indeed as soft as described. However, the air conditioner could only reach 22℃ no matter how I adjusted it. Breakfast was good, with vegetables, noodles, wontons, a little bread, and coffee. At check-out, they gave me a souvenir—a local specialty, celadon. Oh, and they gave me fruit and snacks upon check-in. There are sword-making, pottery, and glass craft experiences nearby. However, for the sword-making experience, it's better to go to the Sword Town.

1. Environment: Located in the countryside and mountains, the idyllic scenery is full of atmosphere, quiet and comfortable, especially relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the city;
2. Hygiene: The whole house is cleaned spotlessly, the bedding toiletries are clean and refreshing, and the full score is hygienic;
3. Accommodation: Hawthorn bed room with zero pressure mattress, sleep quality is directly full, soft and hard to lie on it is very decompressive;
4. Service: The store is warm and caring, responds promptly, and will patiently answer travel and play consultation;
The overall far exceeded expectations, a great choice for family vacations, highly recommended!
