I stayed at Boss Legian as a solo traveler and found it to be a very solid choice for the price. The hotel has 4 floors and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The highlight is definitely the rooftop pool — it’s a great spot to relax and cool off after a day of exploring. There is also a restaurant on-site which is very convenient for a quick bite; the food is basic but good.
The rooms are simple and clean, providing all the essentials. The location is perfect: close enough to the main Legian action, but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. If you are looking for a functional, no-frills hotel with a nice vibe, this is it.
Pros: Rooftop pool, friendly staff, great value for money.
Cons: Rooms are a bit compact, but perfect for one person.

I arrived at the hotel at 12:20 PM and was offered a welcome drink (like iced tea). I got my room key at 1:00 PM, and they even brought my suitcase and bag all the way to the room. The room itself is good and has all the amenities. The bathroom initially had a slight damp smell, but the extractor fan fixed it. If I had to nitpick, some of the towels had stains. The hotel grounds are very pleasant, with a large pool and sun loungers both in the sun and in the shade. There are many international guests who always greet you and smile. The breakfasts aren't very diverse; by the fourth day, I was already tired of them. It's a 5-minute motorbike ride or a 20-minute walk to Seminyak Beach, Potato Head, and ShiShi. Overall, I would definitely come back, but I'd skip the breakfasts next time.

I had a fantastic stay at Berry Biz Hotel! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access nearby attractions. The staffs were friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay!

We booked a two-bedroom villa with a private swimming pool for our family for two days.  

Pros:
- Wonderful staff– gentle, friendly, and attentive.  
- Spacious villa with a beautiful view.  
- Free shuttle to Ubud Palace every two hours (pickup and drop-off included).  
- Best welcome drink ever– the mint lemonade was amazing!  

Cons:
- Unclean linens– bedsheets, pillow covers, bathrobes, and towels had stains .  
- Missing hand/face towels in the bathroom.  
- Clogged sink – one of the two bathroom sinks wasn’t draining properly.  
- Due to the lush greenery, bugs, mosquitoes, lizards, and small spiders were occasionally seen.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hotel staff for taking good care of us.

It's a shame there's no electric kettle for boiling water. I mean, we can bring our own coffee even if it's not provided. It wasn't super clean either, but the service was okay and there was a welcome drink.

Our staycation here with the kids was fantastic. The hotel is very kid-friendly, featuring a spacious swimming pool and a well-equipped playground, which kept the children thoroughly entertained with plenty of activities. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and their soto, in particular, was absolutely excellent! 👍 All the staff members were incredibly friendly. We're definitely looking forward to another staycation here. The hotel rooms were spotless and smelled wonderfully fresh. 👍👍👍👍👍

The room was quite clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. The dining and cooking utensils were fairly complete. The TV and sound system facilities have improved compared to before and are now better. The room was cool, the amenities were complete, and overall it was quite comfortable to stay in.

Perhaps the water gallon could be given a bit more attention, as the water had a slight metallic smell when we were there. This might come from either the water itself or the dispenser. However, overall the place is comfortable and I would recommend it for staying.

An affordable yet comfortable place to stay. All the facilities were good in my opinion. The only downside was the parking area, which was a bit small. The access road was narrow but still manageable for cars. A short walk takes you right to Sudirman street, which is the CFD (Car-Free Day) route. Breakfast lacked variety and didn't taste great.
