AC sound is quite low comparing to AC at some hotels in North America
The reception is friendly, the breakfast is good and the restaurant at ground floor is also nice

Just need half an hour to Istanbul International Airport from hotel by driving, it is the primary attraction for me to choose this hotel

First of all location is not really Taksim you have to climb a very steep mountain if you want to walk to Taksim. Shuttle that they are offering is only one way. Because when we asked the driver how to get back he completely ignored my question that I asked several times. After a week of staying we used shuttle once because its only once an hour. They give you only 1 key so electricity and ac shuts off while you away. Coming back to a hot room during summer was very uncomfortable. Besides few days ac was glitching and blowing humid warm air. I had to call every day to lower our ac because of settings restrictions. Cleaning was only changing towells, I always had to go and ask for water and coffee refills, as well as shower gel and shampoo. We even left empty bottles on the table but the lady ignored it completely. There is no pool, so if you would like to have relaxed day keep it in mind. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel since there were more options across the street or closer to Taksim.

We chose this hotel for a business trip. It was adequate and nice.

ailecek kaldık.oda ***et güzel ve temizdi her gün havlular değiştirildi.kahvaltısı güzel ve yeterliydi konum olarak güzeldi metroya 15 dk yürüme mesafesinde

We chose to stay in Maltepe, a residential district outside the city center. The hotel's name might sound a bit awkward in Russian—”TRYP by Wyndham Istanbul Maltepe”—but the building is newly constructed and features modern amenities. We booked it for 3 nights (specifically to check in at 6 AM and have the option for a late check-out).

I used to like this hotel for its comfort and cleanliness. in the hall ways have carpets and nice cosy light but rooms used to be much better. There are no more shampoos, stuff is not nice trying to defend themselves.
I still love fresh air from the huge windows but I don’t think I may stay here again as it’s price raised and quality dropped.

The children and I liked the place, the only set back is that it's too far from the touristic areas and not much shopping nearby. I was disappointed that the ladies Sauna wasn't working, especially since I booked the place mainly for that. Overall it was a nice hotel.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Tryp! It's super close to the MRT and was clean inside the rooms. The front desk was very helpful during my stay, especially since my room had a few things i couldn't figure out. The rooms weren't as soundproof as i would've liked, especially since the bed was close to the door, but by evening the hotel was very quiet.

During my last night, my room ended up having a small leak from the ceiling but the front desk was quick to switch me to another room and helped bring my bags over. Would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Linkou and wants to be close to the MRT!

I chose to stay at the Wyndham Garden Chongqing Jiefangbei for my business trip to Chongqing this time. Overall, the experience was balanced – no excessive surprises, but no major issues either. The hotel lobby is located on a high floor of the World Trade Center, offering an expansive view as soon as you enter, unlike typical street-level hotels. The location is definitely its biggest advantage; it's just a few steps from Linjiangmen Metro Station, and within easy walking distance to the Jiefangbei Monument and Bayi Delicious Street. In the evening, you can walk to Hongyadong and Daijiaxiang without needing a taxi, and if you get tired from exploring, you can always return to your room to rest. This is very convenient for tourists or short-term business travelers.

I booked a city view room. The room size was not cramped, and the bedding was moderately firm, allowing for decent sleep after several days of being on the go. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and essential toiletries were well-stocked. The smart toilet was easy to use. The soundproofing in the high-floor room was good; the noise from the bustling Jiefangbei commercial district downstairs barely reached us, which was a big plus. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a nice view, perfect for watching the lights of Yuzhong District slowly come on in the evening, and it was very relaxing to sit by the window and unwind.

Regarding amenities, there's a self-service laundry room and a 24-hour gym, which is very convenient for longer trips. The breakfast selection isn't luxurious, but it includes Chongqing noodles, buns, porridge, and Western-style simple meals. The taste is more homestyle, and it's satisfying. The front desk staff's response time was decent, check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and luggage storage was hassle-free.

To be objective, there were a few minor shortcomings. The building itself is older, so elevator wait times can be long during peak hours. Also, the air conditioning in some rooms had a slight noise when adjusting the fan speed. Overall, for its location in the core Jiefangbei area, the price offers high-floor views and excellent accessibility. It's best suited for guests who prioritize location and want to explore Yuzhong District conveniently, making it a good choice for both short business trips and tourism in Chongqing.
