The hotel is good. They have a family mart opening 24 hours in 1st floor. They are very kind.  Room is too small but it’s normal in Tokyo   The location was good for me. Near to shibuya and near to Shinjuku metro station around 10 minutes walking. The area is calm. In general it was good

All procedures are streamlined, making checking in and out run quickly and smoothly.  We got the type of room we asked for without a problem. There is also an excellent locker system  for storing luggage. Very good location for several attractions we were interested in, as well as close to international  cruise terminal. Several restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Everything was okay, definitely passable. The two things I found uncomfortable were the sealed windows, which made me feel a bit cooped up – a common issue with high-rise hotels. When I was choosing a hotel, I specifically avoided those with sealed windows, but it turns out rooms advertised as 'with windows' still don't allow them to open. I guess that just shows my inexperience. The other thing I really disliked was the way the duvet was wrapped in a separate sheet. I specifically looked for this when booking, but couldn't tell from the photos since the sheets were white. It was so uncomfortable; every morning the sheet would be completely separated from the duvet, meaning I was essentially sleeping directly on the duvet that previous guests had used. While traveling, my skin and mucous membranes couldn't quite handle it. I quickly thought to apply some antifungal cream, and that helped a lot.

My stay at the Akihabara Washington Hotel was quite enjoyable. The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Akihabara Station, making it super convenient to get there with luggage in just a few minutes – perfect for first-time visitors to Tokyo. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so grabbing a bite or exploring in the evening is a breeze. While the room wasn't huge, it was well-designed, clean, and tidy, with enough space for my luggage. The soundproofing was also better than I expected, allowing me to sleep soundly. The front desk staff were very professional, and communication in English was no problem; both check-in and check-out went smoothly. Overall, it felt like a consistently reliable and comfortable hotel, one that you can count on not to disappoint. If your itinerary mainly involves exploring central Tokyo, especially areas like Akihabara, Shinjuku, and Ueno, this place is an excellent base. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

You won’t have to be worried even if it’s snowing or raining.

A side note to travellers from the hotter climate, the hotel doesn’t supply air conditioning during winter. Instead it has a small webbed facility that allows outside air to flow into the room. This slight chills the room. However during the day, the room will be super hot.

Initially we had a room facing the sun and when we checked in, the room is super hot. Called the customer service only to find out they didn’t have air conditioning during winter and we have to rent a fan from them.

After a slight communication, the customer service is kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room which is slightly cooler. Big props to the customer service lady! 5 stars service !

The whole hotel gives an old impression.
The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the temperature cannot be set.
The bathtub is small and it's not possible to relax in it.
I think there is a reason why it is cheap.
There is a multi-story parking lot behind the hotel where you can park for 750 yen per night.
I think the Washington Hotel in front of Yamagata Station is several times better.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, directly accessible from the second-floor exit of Rinku Town. The rooms are spacious, and the service is top-notch. There's a convenient store right downstairs, and self check-in/check-out is available. You can also become a member for late check-out benefits. Plus, they offer a complimentary shuttle service to Airport Terminal 1. Overall, highly recommended!
