I will never stay at this hotel again. As a five-star hotel, several things left me extremely disappointed!

1.  **Extremely slow check-in process at the front desk!** The first check-in took forever. After staying two nights, I decided to extend my stay in the same room. It took 15 minutes just to reactivate my room key card. On the third day, I still couldn't get the elevator to work when I went upstairs, so I had to go back to the front desk to reactivate the card again. Plus, the front desk is quite a distance from Building A.

2.  **Lack of basic amenities upon arrival.** On the first day, when I entered the room, there were no slippers or amenity kits (like dental kits, etc.). This clearly shows a lack of preparedness from housekeeping. I immediately called the front desk to request them. It took three hours and two phone calls for them to finally deliver the items. The next day, after the room was serviced, essential items like tissues, slippers, and cotton pads weren't replenished. I had to call the front desk again to request them. They said they'd send them right away, but I waited another hour. It wasn't until my second call that they finally sent a robot with the supplies.

3.  **Very mediocre breakfast.** For a five-star hotel, they didn't even provide knives and forks! I had to eat fruit with chopsticks.

4.  **Lake view room was uncomfortably hot with non-functional AC.** Lake view rooms are inherently more expensive than non-lake view rooms, but my room was incredibly hot. The air conditioning provided no cooling whatsoever and didn't even have a ventilation function. The only way the room cooled down was when it rained.

The room was spacious, especially the ensuite bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a rich selection of Taizhou specialties. There's really no need to follow the trending online food posts; they don't really reflect the experience. It's best to just have breakfast at a local hotel. My two-night stay was very comfortable. The only problem was the pool, which was probably closed to the public, wasn't very pleasant. There were a lot of children learning to swim, and the pool itself was small, so it felt a bit crowded.

The unexpected upgrade to the Tingxiang King Bed was a delightful surprise on my trip! Stepping into the room, the bright and airy space instantly soothed my travel fatigue. The oversized bed with its soft, luxurious bedding felt like being enveloped in clouds as I drifted off to sleep. The supportive mattress provided excellent comfort, allowing me to relax completely and sleep soundly through the night.

The room details were impeccable. The bathroom, with its separate shower and toilet, was spotless, and equipped with all the necessary smart features. A special thank you to Elena at the front desk; she was incredibly warm and patient throughout the check-in and check-out process, answering all my questions with professional and thoughtful service. This stay was exceptionally good value, perfectly embodying quality and comfort. It's now on my must-have travel accommodation list, and I highly recommend it!

The location offers a mesmerizing night view, facing the bustling high-speed train station and the serene park. The newly renovated city expressway adds to the visual appeal, yet the surroundings remain remarkably quiet and comfortable, providing the perfect balance of excitement and tranquility.

For travelers, this hotel is an ideal choice. Its proximity to the HSR station and downtown area makes it incredibly convenient for both business and leisure trips. Whether you're exploring the city or simply relaxing in your room, this hotel delivers an exceptional experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Parking is convenient, check-in is fast, and the room is comfortable.
The price is not expensive, the environment is very good, the first choice for check-in, satisfied.
The service attitude is particularly good, it is close to everywhere, and it is very convenient to enter and exit.
The service is thoughtful.
The front desk service is good, and they took the initiative to let us stay in the original room.
The courtyard is clean and quiet, the room is well soundproofed, and it is a paradise in a busy city.
The coach in the swimming pool is super good

The VIP building and the main building share a common area and a breakfast room, and the accommodation buildings are separate. The rooms and corridors of Building B look like five-star hotels and are very comfortable.
Let's talk about the service first. There is basically no problem. There are staff on duty in the morning in each building. It is the New Year, and the service staff all wear red scarves. They are very good and will take the initiative to say hello.
The seafood noodles for breakfast must be tried, and there are also mantis shrimps and prawns, which are very good. There are also glutinous rice balls and seaweed cakes. The breakfast is basically very comprehensive.
The most surprising thing is that I stayed for two nights and was given a free minibar every night, which is generally given for one night in hotels. Fruits will also be replenished, and good night porridge is given when the bed is turned on at night.
In short, both the facilities and services are great.

As an ordinary tourist, I'd give Yuanzhou Hotel a 98 out of 100.

Advantages: 1. The hotel butler added us on WeChat a day in advance to arrange room type, free parking, dining, etc. Even though it was a weekday check-in, the butler thoughtfully upgraded all three of our rooms.

2. The VIP reception staff greeted everyone politely. On the day of our arrival, the receptionist went directly to the underground parking garage to help us with our luggage and accompanied us upstairs. The toiletries in the room were from Atelier Cologne, and when we asked for a few more samples, the hotel readily agreed.

3. The VIP building is separate from the regular guest room floor, avoiding noise. The afternoon tea in the executive lounge also solved the problem of awkward meal times after visiting Guoqing Temple and Tiantai Mountain.

4. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, including regular food and seaside specialty snacks, and the dining environment was comfortable. There were actually more dishes available after 8 am than at 7 am.

5. The two-night package we chose cost around 650 RMB per day, including unlimited drinks at the minibar and late-night seafood noodles, which was great value. If you have plenty of energy, the package including city wall tickets and transportation seems even more cost-effective. Driving from the hotel to the nearest city gate is less than a 10-minute drive.

Areas for improvement:

1. Both rooms had a slight sewage backflow smell in the bathroom, but it didn't spread to the sleeping areas.

2. The quality of the napkins in the room could be improved.

Also, we were in a rush when checking out, and the front desk may have forgotten about the souvenir. Before we even reached the high-speed rail station, the butler contacted us and arranged for it to be delivered. Thank you so much!

The location of the hotel is very convenient and it is very convenient to travel for food.
