Guest UserOur first time in Basel and we chose Schweizerhof after reading through the reviews. The proximity of the hotel to Basel SBB station is a plus point. Had a nice surprise at the room size n the design of the room. Enjoyed our hotel stay and would recommend this to other travellers too. Location is good with the tram n buses running in-front of the hotel making going around easier.
Would hope to come back in future after the hotel complete its upgrading.

This hotel is great. The staff are very nice and helpful in every way. It has all the amenities that’s required for tourists and it’s very clean.. Breakfast was good no complaints here. They even have a QRCODE for a free ride on the tram or bus. how cool is that. They even called a taxi for us to take us to the Viking tor departure. We definitely recommend this hotel. Oh by the way it’s only five minutes walk to the center Basel..GREAT PLACE.

T_BubblyExcellent stay at Mövenpick Basel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining the city and providing a complimentary tram and bus day pass. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended!

We were just passing through. It's a clean hotel with friendly staff. It was a hot day, so they took a window to our room. You don't have to pay for that. Everything else in the hotel was a bit pricey. But we had a great night!

Anna801Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market.

Сам отель очень чистый, удобный, безопасный, абсолютно новый на вид. Большие пространства для работы. Всегда есть вода, чай и кофе.
Мне очень помогли девушке на ресепшн. Большое спасибо за чудесное место по хорошей цене.
