"The room was clean, we have a bunkbed, double bed with a single bunkbed. The toilet is separated, the shower room is very tiny, not much room to move around inside. No hair dryer is provided. There is a small TV in the room where the channels are quite many in France and some in English. Our towels were changed daily and our bed also being done daily during our stay. The hotel is in good location, there is a tram stop nearby, also we can just walk around 15 minutes to the main train station and it was safe during the night and even early morning. The nearest supermarket is COOP and it is around around 5-10 minutes, you can see the COOP office building from the hotel and still need to walk straight from it."

"This hotel was a great value for our stopover from France to Zurich, Switzerland. The rooms were clean and quite spacious, with lovely views of the Basel cityscape from the window. The hotel's decor felt very refined and elegant throughout. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and very plentiful! All the staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"Great hotel and position! The only downside was the bathroom did emit a smell. It wasn't overpowering, just not pleasant. It's okay when the bathroom door is shut but still there when you open it. It didn't bother me a lot but it may be something others find uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great hotel with friendly staff and very comfortable."

"Basel was our final stop in Switzerland this year, a border city spanning only 24 square kilometers. Despite its border location, it's very developed and modern. **Environment:** Among hotels like Victoria, Mövenpick, Radisson, and Novotel, we chose this 3-star option. It's directly opposite the SBB train station, and the main bus terminal is just 100 meters from the lobby exit. Although it's a transport hub, the area is decent; there are a few homeless people around, but its convenience makes up for it. **Facilities:** There's no fitness center, but you can pay to use a partner facility. The lobby bar is alright, not too crowded, with a nice corner view of the street. Coffee runs between 6-7 Swiss francs. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional, and the bathroom is quite spacious, which is great for travelers. **Cleanliness:** The common areas, like the lobby and hallways, are well-maintained, and the room was very tidy. You can definitely trust the cleanliness standards of Swiss hotels. **Service:** Check-in and check-out were both quick. Our room was ready well in advance, and luggage storage was straightforward. They provide a Basel Card, which offers free use of all city public transport and half-price entry to some museums. I didn't particularly notice any other services."

"The staff is very friendly and helpful. Basel card is very useful as well to get into any transportation for free. Most importantly, the hotel is next to train and main tram station so it’s very convenient to go anywhere."

"The room was decent and offered good value for the price, especially the 1.6-meter bed which is rare at this price point. On the first day, there was a slight perfume smell in the room which I personally wasn't a fan of, but it dissipated quickly after turning on the air conditioning. As for breakfast, by Swiss standards, it was quite good. The serving hours were long enough that even late risers could still enjoy it. After booking, the email confirmation was almost instantaneous. We arrived in the early hours of the morning, but thankfully the front desk is 24-hour, so we were able to check in smoothly even in the middle of the night, which was a huge plus. The cleanliness was impeccable; the whole place was very tidy. The complimentary Basel Card was incredibly useful and saved us a lot on public transport."

"Breakfast is available if requested, but it is very easy to use the fully equipped kitchen which is mostly used quite well by the guests. Access by lift is available. The bunks are quite wide and comfortable and there is lockable storage space. The site is very near to public transport which is convenient. In summer there are eateries and drinking places right next door. There are food shops nearby. Toilets and showers are all good and kept clean."
