I came to Guangxi for a trip and went from Quyang Lake to Baise. I chose Wanduo Hotel. I didn't expect that the hotel at this price was quite good. Haokun Lake was an uncertain trip, but it yielded the most certain surprises 😊 Qingshan Wein was indeed the best homestay I stayed at during this trip. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, about 4-5 kilometers, but it's very quiet, so we all slept really well. We booked a superior twin room with a small balcony, which was great for drying clothes. The room itself was quite spacious, new, and quiet. It's a standard hotel, so you don't have to worry about cleanliness. There are washing machines on the 3rd floor, but only two, plus two dryers, so it can get busy. However, you can leave a note there to queue, and the staff will help bring your washed laundry back to you. Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel was well located right across from the People’s park. We had a wonderful view of the pond in the park. Rooms were clean and everything we needed. Breakfast was one of the best that we had while traveling in China. We also used the clothing washer and dryer that was available. 丽娟 greeted us with a smile on arrival and was very helpful with multiple requests. This hotel is very fortunate to have great employees like her. I know Trip.com rates this as a three star hotel, but it was better than the majority of the four star hotels we stayed at here in China.

The bed is wide and the bedding is comfortable. Everything is great, except for the slightly remote location. But you can see the mountains right from your bed, which is incredibly beautiful, really.

This was the first inn we visited. It felt very clean, and the ground floor was spotless. The receptionist wasn't very welcoming. We arrived and saw a few people chatting and drinking tea on the ground floor, but no one answered our questions. The best part was that they provided a very generous breakfast, which made it worth it. I heard there was a bonfire party in the evening, but it was raining when we visited, so we didn't have one. The inn across the street is great for taking photos!

Zizhu International Hotel was a great place to stay while visiting Baise. I used to work in Baise thirty years ago. Now Baise has become a big and modern city, and it was hard to find my way around, but this hotel in the city centre made it a lot easier. I enjoyed the view of Youjiang river and was amazed to see the new Baise hospital building just across the street. Zizhu International Hotel is a modern hotel with excellent facilities as well as service. I thought that staying at such a hotel would be very expensive, but it wasn't. It was rather cheap. A great surprise! If I return to Baise again, I will definitely book again.
