Hotels with Breakfast in Shanshan

After we encountered a bad experience with a desert glamping resort in Dunhuang, we were a bit cautious with Dune when we booked it. However, after I communicated with the manager in Dune via WeChat, I was more confident as he was very polite and helpful. He helped us to booked a transfer from Turpan Airport to Dune resort. As our flight arrived Turpan in the evening, it was late when we arrived at Dune. The manager and another staff came to the entrance of the driveway to welcome us and helped us with our luggage. They took us straight to our tent, and they upgraded us to a bigger tent, too. We woke up to this beautiful Kumtag Desert Sand dunes, right in front of our tent! It was so beautiful. As the off peak season started, we were the only guests there but the staff were serving us with delicious breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious and plentiful! The manager and staff were very attentive to our requests. One of the staff has helped us to arrange a local guide/driver to take us to the Kumtag desert for an exciting ATV ride and sand sliding. We had a great time. We ended up hiring the same guide, a pleasant and calm Uygur young guy to take us for some sightseeing and dropped us back to Turpan. I would say to anyone who is looking for a real desert glamping, please come to Dune in Shahshan near Turpan instead of Dunhuang.

The hotel's newly replaced carpet gives people a brand new feeling and is very comfortable. The front desk service is as warm, thoughtful and professional as always. My friends and I like living here very much. The hotel also has a free laundry room and gym. It is worth staying for friends who are on business trips. The hotel is located in the center of the county town, which is very convenient for travel.

This hotel is highly recommended. The boss is very generous and enthusiastic. The two waitresses at the front desk are very enthusiastic and attentive. They basically respond to all requests. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The surrounding dining and shopping are very convenient. It is the best place we have stayed in during our trip to Xinjiang. The hotel is so great, it must be rated five stars

Everything except the breakfast was 10/10. Reception was super good, room was spacious, clean and has somewhat of a view over the desert, there was a (very small) gym and free self service laundry area. Free pick up and drop off from train station offered. Breakfast: brought to your room at whatever time you want, but very boring, basically not worth getting.

How should I put it? This hotel is the best hotel I have ever encountered in this price range, no doubt about it. Moreover, the children like the hotel's breakfast very much. They want to eat more even if they are full. It really helps me solve the problem of children's meals 😂😂😂 The free pick-up service is very friendly to people like us who travel independently, and the manager is very gentle.

The front desk service of the hotel is very good, very patient and considerate, and the room is large. Unfortunately, the facilities are a bit poor. The buzzing sound at night prevented me from sleeping well. After getting up to check for a long time, I found out that the noise was coming from the power box in the room. Because it's too late, I have to endure it

The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the desert, just a few minutes by taxi. The biggest plus was the complimentary hotel shuttle service, a thoughtful detail that made a real difference.
