JJJ$Our stay at La Chiusa Delle Monache was truly special. The property feels like a beautiful home, full of charm and character. We stayed in the former horse’s house, thoughtfully transformed into a cozy and unique B&B—it was both comfortable and full of personality.
This is a genuine family-run place, and you can feel it in every detail. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering insightful tips about the area that made our visit even better. The whole family—mom, dad, and everyone—helps run the place, creating a warm, homey atmosphere.
Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade pastries from the mother’s recipe—absolutely delicious and easily my favorite part of the stay. As a thoughtful touch, she even gave us leftover pastries to take on the road, which we truly appreciated.
A heartfelt experience from start to finish—very impressive and highly recommended.

GGuest UserLa struttura è in una posizione ottima, facile da raggiungere parcheggiando appena fuori le mura e comodissima per girare a piedi la città. L’hotel è pulito e le camere ben arredate. Abbiamo anche usufruito gratuitamente delle bici dell’hotel per fare un giro tra le vie e sopra le mura della città. Il punto forte è alla reception, Alessandro è stato molto accogliente e intelligente nel darci consigli su come spendere il nostro weekend a Lucca, da cosa visitare a dove mangiare ci ha fatto scoprire posti e persone magnifiche.

GGuest UserActually everything was fine and really quiet and nice breakfast and 24 hour reception. There is a main building and a depandance, although close to each other, but there are a lot of stairs, so this hotel is not suitable for people who have difficulty walking. The rooms have their own air conditioning that works and is very easy to operate, which is fine.

FFmmaniWe had a wonderful stay in Lucca! Monica was super kind and welcoming. The room was excellent, with a beautiful view of the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro. Comfortable bed, very good shower, and air conditioning that made the stay even better. The location couldn’t be more perfect.
Tip for future guests: park your car at Parcheggio Mazzini (near Porta Santa Maria).

WWilliamgray81This place was surprisingly nice in a really cool town that wasn't really on my radar. It's a short distance to the sights and some really good restaurants. It was a little challenging to check-in since the street doesn't have parking and it's hard to find, but ring the bell or connect earlier with the owner and it'll be smooth I'm sure. The parking on site was nice because it's protected from the street, but like all of Europe, pricey. There is also a breakfast option, but didn't spend the money to find out the quality. Rooms are of a really good size, great air conditioner, and bed is comfortable.

The structure is beautiful and central. Unfortunately I could not take advantage of the stay because causes disease I could not leave.
I am sorry that the structure has such a tight rules that it cannot accept any request for reimbursement/partial reimbursement/change of booking in any way for one reason, among others, a certificate. I know that I have booked the structure from third-party site, The hotel could still accept to move my reservation and I was also willing to pay for the price difference. The staff I had to do with telephone was still kind, I understand that a receptionist cannot The hotel's instructions could be changed, but I think you could have done better. I appreciate the assistance I have received from trip.com, which at least returned me a small number in trip coins.
I still plan to re-book in this facility because I don't want to miss this experience of travel.

KKamiaodabaobaoThe hotel is very close to Luca Railway Station and the hotel is on the right hand side after leaving the station. This is an older hotel. The room is large and the room is very large. The basic facilities are complete. The windows of the room are large and the ventilation is good. The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, and the natural consideration provides a lot of help for passengers. The hotel's breakfast is a relatively simple Western breakfast, simple and delicious. Lucca is an ancient city, the road in the city is not easy to walk, so short-term tourists live in this hotel is the most convenient, out of the station, especially suitable for passengers with more luggage. KKaisa Johanna’Old style’ hotel with clean and ok room. Just perfect for stop if you are e.g. having early flight. Nice breakfast. Met only one person who spoke english. Maybe different siruautomaatit as the season starts.
