From the moment we checked in, it was evident that the room's air conditioning was not functioning properly. Despite our early notification to hotel staff, who assured us that the room would cool down given time, the situation did not improve. Multiple calls to the front desk yielded similar responses, with representatives advising us to be patient.
Frustratingly, even after a visit from maintenance, the problem persisted. It wasn't until the late hours of the night, after returning from our planned activities, that the severity of the situation became apparent. Our room remained uncomfortably warm, despite the efforts made to rectify the issue.
At 3:30 am, with our patience exhausted and sleep evading us, we were compelled to call maintenance once again. Only then was it confirmed that the air conditioner was indeed faulty. In an inconvenience compounded by the late hour, we were relocated to a different room at 4 am, sacrificing precious hours of rest.
Regrettably, the hotel's attempt at consolation fell short. A mere $25 food credit was offered, an inadequate gesture considering the disruption to our stay and the limited time remaining before our scheduled checkout. This token gesture hardly compensated for the inconvenience and discomfort we endured throughout the night.
