Barceló Aguamarina

The location was great. The staff was nice. This was definitely a family and kids type of resort which we unexpected. The staff at reception were very nice but there is NO help with bags upon arrival so be prepared to sweat getting your bags upstairs. Also the drains in the sink and shower were clogged and it was nasty taking a shower as the backwash smelled like sewage.

Excellent hotel, staff etc. they couldnt do enough for us, especially as my 21month old granddaughter was with us, staff went out of their way to attend to her needs. Left an item, emailed hotel 3 times, rang several times and no answer!!! Very disappointed as i just wanted it posting, i will pay for the postage. Even contacted head office but just left on hold!!!

I couldn’t fault anything about this stay, the hotel and staff were great, the location was great, food excellent , the beach also wonderful, my friend and I loved it, short flight, long transfer but it wouldn’t put me off returning

Staff - staff were lovely and understood English well, started our trip very welcoming and always open to helping. The staff were low-key and didn't have much of a presence around the hotel which was nice and laid back. It felt like there was lots of freedom without surveillance. The cleaners also did a great job, and the chefs and restaurant staff were quick and attentive. Food - we stayed half board and got a buffet breakfast and dinner with one alcoholic drink each night. The staff were quick to clear plates and offer drinks. The range was vast, for myself included as a vegetarian. I found there were lots of options. With hot and cold food selections. There was a few staple buffet items with some changes throughout the week so it didn't feel repetitive. Facilities - the pool area was always kept very clean and well maintained. Also a poolside bar and again not too much staff presence. However at the top pool there was more staff who were eager to interact with guests and host water aerobics and pool games for family's. The private beach was also such an amazing experience, we never found it to be overly crowded either. The area was peaceful and led to a really relaxing week. Room - we booked the superior double room with a seaview balcony and got exactly that with no complications. The room was perfect and well worth the money. We were first amazed by the massive bed and how clean and fresh the room felt. There was a shower with two heads, shower gel, conditioner, a hairdryer, light up mirror, magnifying mirror and plug socket in the bathroom perfect for hair tools or electric shavers. There was also lots of complimentary toiletries like a toothbrush, shoe shiner, razor and makeup removing kit. There was a floor length mirror, two bedside tables, each with plug sockets. And small night lights for reading. The room was always well lit and also had a good air conditioning facility. There was also a big TV and mini fridge, kettle and safe. With lots of storage for clothing and hangers and rail. The balcony had an amazing view that over looked the pool and beach. A small table and two chairs with a clothing rail for drying too.

Have just returned today from my second stay at this fabulous hotel and cannot wait to return again!!The hôtels location right on Cala Ferrera Beach is stunning but what sets this hotel apart are its lovely, helpful staff. We did not meet a single person who did not greet us with a smile and who went above and beyond to ensure that we made the most of our holiday!!The food was deliciously varied and the rooms are calmly inviting.There was a small issue with the ac which once reported by the app was dealt with promptly and discreetly.Thanks so much for another great stay!!

Lovely comfort beds and great selection of food, very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the evening entertainment.

I am a big fan of this hotel. Amazing location, right on the lovely beach and yet just a couple of minutes away from local shops and restaurants. The staff is adorable, helpful and accommodating, went out of their way to satisfy my requests. Special thank you to Judith and Marta. My room was stunning, very chic and super spacious, with a superb terrace. The food was lovely for a buffet and the bars are nice. Gym is open 24/7, which is rare and very handy if you want to enjoy 100% of the sun and daylight. Even if this is not an adult only hotel, it is not only centered around kids like other family friendly resorts, which means you can have a nice and restful time whilst families can equally enjoy their time with the kids. I don't usually attend the evening entertainment but here it's definitely above average and it creates a great vibe at the bar. One of my favorite Barcelo hotels for sure. Thanks everyone for making my stay special.

Excellent location, staff courteous, friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was kept very clean and tidy. Food and drink choices good, with very good service in the restaurant and at the bars.

I have stayed in Barceló Aguamarina for a duration of 5 nights. I was amazed by the location of the hotel with breathtaking views. Amazing food, drinks and friendly staff. Small but comfortable room. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers, couples and families with small children.
