We were very happy with the service and the rooms and the breakfast was amazing. However it’s not that easy to find this place.

Old house that looked like a museum. Had a ******* castle vibe. I was checking paintings for moving eyes!
Room was basic, no TV, no AC, but clean.
Host added to the ******* castle vibe by being a bit distant, hesitant when talking etc. could have been language barrier.
Breakfast was on the veranda which had a great view.
Expensive for what it was at almost €200 for one night.
And it was hard to get to, in a small town on a hill (adding to creepy Wicker man vibe).

Dimora storica meravigliosa nel centro storico di Castelnuovo. Bellissima accoglienza. Camera spaziosa, comoda e silenziosa. Durante il soggiorno si gode di una tranquillità assoluta. Consigliatissimo!
