Ascott Raffles Chengdu is conveniently located from various tourist attractions. Our stay was lovely. They also upgraded us from a studio apartment to a one bedroom apartment and it was absolutely lovely. They even went to the extend of preparing a surprise cake for my husband as it was his birthday. I would greatly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Chengdu for a holiday. Cheers to the good service throughout the whole stay.

I chose Mingyu Shangya again. The hotel is still first-rate. I sent a message to the housekeeper Xiao Li in advance, and he helped me arrange the room and gave me a welcome fruit. The hotel is very unique. The red lanterns on the exterior can be seen from a distance. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the staff are friendly. The room is large and the bed is spacious, with phalaenopsis blooming and drinks flowing freely. The breakfast is rich and includes cheese, which many hotels don't have. The refreshments on the 27th floor are comfortable and cozy, especially the lanterns on the small balcony are very beautiful. Overall, I recommend it, like it and will come back next time.

We stayed in JinJiang for 4 nights from Oct. 17 to Oct. 22, 2023. We were so happy to choose this Hotel. The stuff of Hotel was very warm and helpful. Specially, Ms. Camille Feng, she helped us to change the rooms and give us very good suggestions for our stay; Ms. Xu Bin had very beautiful smile and gave us warm welcome. Room service persons, Rick Ren and Shang Ya Qiong provided excellent service for us. Moreover, VIP lounge at 27 floor is a such good place for guests to relax and meet friends, with coffee, tea, snacks, etc. The Chengdu JinJiang hotel's VIP rooms are truly 5 star qualities. Also, its breakfast is very good and more affordable, comparing with other 5 star hotels.

The hotel is indeed a bit old, but the price is the best. It has everything you would expect from a five-star hotel. The front desk also selected a floor even if the room was not tight. There is also a small gift pack of toiletries and snacks for children when they check in. The children are very happy! However, when I checked out, I was told that there were no more pandas and the activity was over. The children were a little disappointed. They wanted to stay here just because they wanted to send flowers! 😂However, the staff still gave me a panda keychain, which is very adaptable! The kids are happy too!

If you want to stay in a hotel in Chengdu with basic facilities and good price, Lancheng Yuerong Food Culture Hotel is your choice. It is very easy to access the subway (so you can go around the city). It does not has a glory look decoration in the hotel lobby but provides all good basic hotel services. We enjoyed the friendly staff and the Chinese calligraphy practice facility in the lobby. It has exercise room but needs work to build it up. Regardless, we will definitely consider to stay in the hotel again for our next visit in Chengdu.
