The attractiveness of this hotel is the restaurant with an excellent menu for lunch as well as diner. Upon our arrival we were however informed that the restaurant was closed due to "exceptional circumstances" being the many cancellations because of the weather forecast. I did not think that this reason would qualify as an "exceptional circumstance" and it left us in the middle of nowhere with the next restaurant at a 20 min drive. I believe if you advertise your hotel as having a restaurant that you should stick to your promises. Apparently promises to not account to much for this proprietor. Better stay away or check the weather!

De aantrekkelijkheid van dit hotel is het restaurant met een uitstekende menukaart voor zowel lunch als diner. Bij onze aankomst kregen we echter te horen dat het restaurant gesloten was wegens "uitzonderlijke omstandigheden" zijnde de vele afzeggingen vanwege de weersvoorspelling. Ik denk dat deze reden niet kwalificeert als een "uitzonderlijke omstandigheid". Dientengevolge zaten wij "in de middle of nowhere" met het volgende restaurant op 20 minuten rijden. Ik ben van mening dat als men adverteert dat het hotel een restaurant heeft, men zich aan deze belofte moet houden. Zo niet deze eigenaar! Beter wegblijven of het weer checken!

Bij aankomst onduidelijk wat je moet doen, dan rij je door een mooi park heen met veel speeltuinen en watertjes. De echte teleurstelling is de kamer. Stoffig, oud, slecht onderhouden. Het 900 hectare grote park is fantastisch, ook al is het zwembad ver lopen en met badmuts en slipper verplichting.
