We enjoyed ourselves very much at this wonderful hotel. We reserved a suite which had an amazing balcony and view of the waterfront. The price was very reasonable and I doubt we could afford such a room in the U.S. A quick walk and we were sightseeing in an amazing city.

Just finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever. Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room. Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious. Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable. What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable. Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced: - A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty - Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals - One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it - Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel. - A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room - Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too. Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

Opposite the hotel is the Chongqing Grand Theater, and a 10-minute walk to the left is Hongya Cave. The hotel is in a very good location. After booking, I called the hotel and asked the front desk to reserve a parking space for us. Hotels in the city center can have their own parking. The venue is very good. If you need to park, you should call in advance. The beautiful woman at the front desk is very enthusiastic. I am very happy to play out this time. It is very comfortable to stay at night. The waiter is also very enthusiastic. If you want a razor, it will be there soon. It was delivered to the room. The room was very beautiful, with lavender hanging paintings, which made it feel very warm.

A nice hotel in a prime location in ChongQing, very walkable distance to the shopping / food district, as well as popular tourist spots such as HongYaDong and ShiBati. It is located directly above Raffles City shopping mall, which makes getting groceries or looking for a meal very convenient. The staff there were extremely friendly and accommodating and the rooms were spacious. Would stay again.

Stunning Views Amidst Clean Comfort and a few flaw at Roosevelt. My recent stay at Roosevelt offered a mix of breathtaking scenery and comfortable accommodations, albeit with two minor flaws. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel boasts unparalleled views of both the sparkling river and the bustling city skyline. The lobby was impeccably clean, with modern decor and well-appointed furnishings creating an inviting ambiance. However, my enthusiasm waned slightly upon noticing the state of the carpeted hallway, which appeared in need of a thorough cleaning. Despite this initial impression, the cleanliness and comfort of my room quickly restored my confidence in the hotel. The spacious accommodations were meticulously maintained, offering a serene retreat from the bustling city below. The large windows provided an uninterrupted view of the river and cityscape, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery from the comfort of my own space. The onsite restaurant promised a western breakfast; to be honest I had my doubts but my wonderful fiancé convinced me to book the hotel with the breakfast option included, however their idea of a western breakfast was toast, overcooked eggs, stale doughnuts and the rest you’ll refer to the pictures. While the dirty carpeted hallway was a minor disappointment, it did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. With its unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, and stunning views, Roosevelt remains a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the Chongching. I would gladly return for another visit, hopeful that the cleanliness of the hallway and the breakfast matches the caliber of the rest of the hotel in the future.

The environment is beautiful and the location is good. It is very close to the Chongqing Eye viewing platform. It is very convenient to go to the Yangtze River Cableway. It is very close to several surrounding attractions. The room is comfortable and hygienic. The service staff is very enthusiastic and willing to provide all kinds of help. The hotel The supplies are all sterilized, so you can use them with confidence. The facilities are very user-friendly, the high-speed network signal is good, and the scenery outside the window is great. The night view of Chongqing is really beautiful! Personally I think the price/performance ratio is quite high~

The location is great! It is really invincible to Hongyadong, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Bayi Haochi Street. It is a few minutes walk to Hongyadong. It is super convenient. The hotel is in Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. The location is excellent. It really saves a lot of time to travel. Chongqing food is really good and delicious, the front desk service is very warm, there are questions and answers, the service provided is also very good, in the morning, I also drank the restaurant's self-service soy milk and buns for free in the restaurant. It was full of surprises. It was really good. Come back next time! ! !

its location is just right above HongYaDong. Also just around the building, there is a secret path that leads to the steps to HongYaDong and if you cross the road its is JieFanbei where all the nice shopping area is. Kinda like city hall to bugis street in SG. And along the street, there are store that open till 1.30am for people who wants supper. The staff are very helpful, polite and friendly. Especially staff number 4. They even have farewell packs for us when we check out the building. (Oh the can drinks inside the mini fridge is also free too.) My family enjoy it very much. Their breakfast voucher is actually a meal voucher that you can use from 7.30am to 8.30pm. So you can use it anytime of the day to cover your meal.

Very nice location and room was spacious. Directly opposite hotel will be 洪崖洞 and many streets food below. Our room got a small window view to see the bridge and the crowd below. Very nice view at night. If possible request for newly renovated room as is more classic. Hotel got washing machine and dryer so is very convenient. Walking distance to 解放牌, 十八梯 and nearby hotels got lots of foods. Strongly recommended 刘一手 hotpot(request for window view). Will definitely come back if I travel to chongqing.
