Holiday Inn Columbus

Columbus IN is one my my regular stooping points when I travel through the Midwest. I have stayed at four of the large hotels in Columbus to get a feel for where I want to make my “ go to” place to stay. Hands down, the Holiday Inn is the nicest hotel in Columbus IN and most likely one of the nicest Holiday Inn locations you will find. The hotel is very new and the rooms are spacious, clean, have comfortable beds and a shower that works great. They have a great breakfast each morning with lots of items to pick from. Although the hotel is just off I-65 exit, it is about a 3-4 minute drive to downtown if you want to visit the terrific park in town or some of the local restaurants. Out near the hotel, their are several good food choices and a Sam’s Club to get gas. Every hotel I stay at in my travels should have someone at the front desk as friendly, welcoming and helpful as Luther. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Columbus IN you will be surprised at how nice the hotel is.
Days Inn by Wyndham Columbus IN

Travelled to Columbus for a business trip. Stayed at the Days Inn hotel for 2 nights. The hotel manager, Victor Patel is very courteous and welcoming. I was delayed due to last minute flight cancellation. When I called the hotel to adjust my reservation, Victor was extremely polite and co-operative. Overall, the room was clean, room service was good, however the breakfast was quite average. I would recommend adding better breakfast items (with a slight surcharge, if needed) to make the stay even better.

Check in feeling: 1 bed is too soft, and it suddenly falls, but Americans may like this bed, so don't comment. 2 The air-conditioner refrigerator is very noisy, and the room is not soundproof. In the middle of the night, it is suddenly awakened by the radio. It is scheduled for three nights, and it is not good to sleep one night. 3 On the second night, the clothes were washed after bathing in the evening, and the wet clothes were placed on the shelf of the bathroom to control the water, but did not notice that there was no sewer on the bathroom floor, so the water was accumulated on the floor, and the hotel front desk called to ask me. What's in the bathroom... The phone hasn't explained it yet. The front desk clerk came over and knocked at the door and told you what to do inside. After I opened the door, I told her that I was washing clothes. She said that she was leaking downstairs, I said I don't know if there is no sewer, and the bathroom has no instructions that I can't wash the clothes and can't spill it on the floor. Then I cleaned the floor with a towel. Regarding this incident, I felt really bad about the experience of staying. First of all, there was no indication in the room that it was not allowed to wash clothes in the bathroom, nor did it say that the floor would leak. If the floor of the room is leaking, there should be a clear and obvious sign attached to the bathroom. Surroundings: Great, opposite Wal-Mart, and there are many fast food restaurants around McDonald's. There is a small outlet in the 10-minute drive, but things are really cheap, coach and mk are 30% off and 30% off, so I have a lot of bags and belts. In short, go out, in addition to worry about personal safety, the other is to rest well. But this time it was really disappointing. If I come next time, I will not visit this store again.
