Called in for a drink while visiting the area. It was a dark drizzly January day and the front bar was really cozy with a stove. I imagine this place would be great in the summer and we plan to go back to enjoy the pool and sunday lunch. Drinks were a fair price and they even had zero alcohol beer 🍺

Fuimos a cenar con unos amigos y nos pareció un lugar mágico, como si de repente nos hubiéramos trasladado al siglo XIX, a la época de los bandoleros. Todo está ambientado en torno a la figura del famoso José María El Tenpranillo, con pinturas y grabados en torno a su figura. Paco, el dueño, nos ofreció después de cenar un recorrido por las estancias y nos fue describiendo los muebles y objetos que adornan las paredes de este sitio tan rústico y con tanta historia. Incluso nos mostró una habitación llena de encanto rural. Dormir en ella seguro que te transporta a esa época del bandolerismo. De la cena destacamos las excelentes croquetas variadas (de choco en su tinta, de boletus y de espinacas y queso de cabra), la sopa de picadillo, el salteado de verduras estilo oriental y el bacalao al horno. Tuvimos una experiencia muy gratificante, sobre todo por la amabilidad del personal.

El dia 2 de abril de 2023 hicimos una reserva en el restaurante El Tempranillo para almorzar con mi familia, ya habíamos ido un par de veces y nos había gustado, asi que optamos por repetir, cual fue mi sorpresa cuando entramos al restaurante, una descoordinación total entre los camareros, pasaban y pasaban y nosotros esperando que nos atendieran, hasta que por fin llego nuestro turno, pedimos unos entrantes, entre ellos un plato de jamón, unas croquetas y algo mas, para mi sorpresa el plato de jamón dejaba mucho que desear, el corte horroroso y y la presentación del plato nefasta , las croquetas las sacaron antes de tiempo y se veían crudas, del plato principal pedimos una salsa para la carne que nunca llego, por lo que me toco levantarme de la mesa e ir a pedirla a la barra, asi que creo que sera nuestra ultima vez que vayamos. Una sugerencia; que alguien revise los platos antes de sacarlos a la mesa. Agrego unas fotos del jamón cortado.

Prachtig authentiek hotel met een legendarische geschiedenis,hebben er vijf dagen overnacht in juli 2021 ! Historische kamers,maar met alle moderne voorzieningen! Schoon comfortabel en heerlijk koel in de zomer! Het eten was toen al fantastisch, en dit jaar ook samen met vrienden en familie die ons kwamen bezoeken heerlijk gegeten,het vlees is werkelijk verrukkelijk en ook de wijnen zijn een perfecte keuze! Het hotel/ restaurant heeft dit jaar een nationale gastronomische onderscheiding ontvangen de ‘Plato de Oro’ als erkenning voor uitstekende service en leveren van kwaliteitsproducten professionals en koks! En dit is zeker dik verdiend voor de eigenaar ,familie en personeel! In het weekend serveren ze heerlijke homemade pizza’s! Een echte aanrader zowel om te verblijven en te eten een dikke 10 Paco de eigenaar heeft nog met veel trots, een leuke foto van ons gemaakt met de plato de Oro op de achtergrond!…

No cumplieron lo que prometían en una oferta. Lo hice saber, por teléfono y presencialmente. Les hice una reseña en Google y no me deja responder a su respuesta. Me dicen que debería haber hecho saber mi malestar durante mi estancia, lo hice constar, pero no tengo que montar ningún espectáculo para que cumplan con lo que prometen. Solo me gustaría que tomaran medidas para que los siguientes huéspedes tengan mejores condiciones, entre todos mejoramos el servicio gracias a estos medios. Yo, por supuesto, no volveré.
