Our birdwatching group stayed here for 2 nights. The entrance hall is very grand but the bedroom I was in was very outdated, and the curtains were not big enough to close across the vast window. If you are a vegetarian the buffet selection is pretty rubbish even though it might look like there is a lot - salad leaves, cheese and bread and cake and fruit were all I found

Located in its own park this hotel sports a grand lobby, enormous rooms and a range of services. The room was a bit run down though, and the food in the restaurant mediocre. A very noisy party dominated the evening. Personally I prefer a smaller hotel with more character.

Hotel Dilijan Resort is a nice and friendly hotel to stay for a night or two. The only issue that we noticed was the lack of an air conditioner and the bathroom was too small to move around; though, the room was very specious and had a separate seating area. The balcony was a nice touch since the weather at night during summer months is great. It also offered full daily breakfast which was included in the room rate.

What an interesting hotel. Set in parkland, the late Soviet era hotel is enormous. Comfortable and very large rooms. Very bizarre design with lifts stopping between floors rather than on floors so you need to walk up or down to reach your room Highlight though was the included dinner and breakfast. Never ending quality food from soups, salads, meats and vegetables and onto great dessert. Way too much for any human to eat so I hope the leftovers went somewhere! Only negative was pretty woeful internet. They need to add routers in each room or nearby.

An average place. Very large, oddly large rooms a few pieces of furniture here and there. At the same time, small bathroom. Approach to entrance is via some 25-30 stairs. No railings. Good luck. Elevators stop between floors, so you have to walk up or down a flight of stairs to get to your room. Who knows what designers were thinking, if anything. Unless you’re stuck here as part of a tour, find another place.

Very big hotel in soviet style with huge rooms and restautants. Dinner very good. We were alone and it seemes to live in the movie shining...... Green park all arround, cozy swimming pool with jacuzzi. In some areas they should renew something but for one night it’s ok. The puttanesca spaghetti at dinner was a gentle gift to us italians but served cold is like a fist on one eye..... After all i advise this hotel to everybody

Huge soviet style hotel and definitely outdated. There were two elevators in the huge hall, one of which was broken... As for the landing, it is located between two floors, which is obviously ideal when you have suitcases! Certainly, the rooms are large and equipped with a minibar but empty. The furniture seems to date from the 1940s. The electrical outlets are cleverly located behind the furniture. Our two bedside lamps were broken. The room smelled a bit of tobacco. The sink had no drain. There were slippers, but no bathrobe, which is rather surprising for a hotel that prides itself on a large pool and spa. As for the huge restaurant with a 10 m ceiling, it offered quite average food. So: avoid.
