Beautiful property with underground parking located within walking distance of the old town. Stunning bedroom (upgrade given) which was well furnished and very clean. Welcome drink was offered on arrival. On arrival there was water, fruit in the room. There was a kettle but very small quantity of tea/coffee which was not replaced on the 2nd day. We were very honoured to meet the GM Herr Ralf Kutzner. He invited us to cocktails in the bar were we had a very interesting conversation about careers, travel experiences etc. An extremely enjoyable time. Thank you. We had dinner on our second night in the restaurant and it was a very enjoyable experience. We loved Dresden & would always stay here if we return to the City.

The location is perfect, the service is in place, and the stay is relatively comfortable. The location is near Frauenkirchen. It is only 2 minutes to the church. I have stayed in several hotels, and there's always something to criticize. But surprisingly I have nothing to say about Townhouse Dresden. I have stay from Mon to Thursday and was very happy with the service and accommodation. I stayed in the Classic room, which is very large and comfortable compared to other classic rooms. I slept well, without any noise from the streets, and can't express how happy I was with the breakfast. In general, a nice hotel, very well located, with fine rooms, and a good breafkast. I would definitely return to this hotel whenever I need to come to Dresden.

Excellent stay from start to finish. Very helpful staff at reception and concierge desk. Ample breakfast (though crowded during a holiday weekend). Large room with work space, TV, a sofa and armchair. Our room faced the street, and there was some noise, but it ended before we turned in. Location could not be better: easy walking distance to all of the Old Town attractions.

We were in town for the Christmas markets which is one of Germany's best. Well, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay than here. The hotel opens directly upon the central square which is where one of the markets is located. The other major market is just a few steps further across the street. Unfortunately, we weren't given a view room and our room really didn't have a view, but it was comfortable with all the amenities you might expect. We were traveling by car so a big plus was the underground public garage with direct elevator access to the hotel.

Every morning I go to the restaurant to eat and see different waiters politely but not embarrassingly say hello; Meeting house keeping in the corridor will also say hello politely. 2) Hygiene: daily cleaning of the room, changing bath towels, renewing new tea bags and coffee. Shortly after the restaurant guests finished eating, the waiter cleaned the table, there was no bread on the ground, and the buffet table was cleaned without oil stains, soy sauce, tea stains. 3) Facilities: The hotel is warm like spring, and there are heating and air conditioning in the room. The bathroom in the room is very large, the shower water pressure is very comfortable, and the water temperature is very comfortable. It’s really comfortable to take a hot bath when I come back a day outside. ～ 4) Environment: The hotel is located on a small street outside the old town and is very quiet at night. Walk to Zwenger Palace for 3 minutes and walk to Notre Dame Cathedral for 10 minutes. There is a Sichuan restaurant less than 100 meters from the hotel, which is partial to Chengdu taste (hemp), which is delicious!

It is a great hotel, the service is top. The Hotel Crew is friendly. Breakfast buffet is rich and fresh. The rooms are large and friendly furnished. The location is so that you can also reach the city walking distance and about 10 minutes. We could park our car in the deep garage for 12 nights , I think on the street with a parking ticket we would have come more expensive and it would not have been so safe. We are satisfied and will come back in any case . Thanks to the hotel team !!!!!

If you have to get to the airport ”shortly after midnight”, i.e. at 5 a.m., you will appreciate the location of the hotel. The honest efforts of the reception to welcome the guest in a friendly and helpful manner are also out of the question. However, the general standard of the hotel is too average for a tourist metropolis. A strong push of measures will be needed if the house wants to assert itself in a strong competition. This hotel is in a charming traditional baroque area of the Neustadt rather than the tourist dominated Altstadt. The area is quiet and our room especially so because it overlooked the inner courtyard. Bedrooms are a good size with traditional styling matching the era of the building. Our bathroom was adequately equipped but disappointingly small for a hotel of this quality. Our main, and fundamental, criticism of this hotel was that breakfast was not available in its own breakfast room as stated on its website and booking confirmation. It was instead provided at the neighbouring sister hotel, the Bulow Palais; fortunately for us the weather was chilly but fine for the morning 150m walk. The enhanced Palais breakfast was superb, with exemplary table service for cooked meals and a huge variety of delicacies at the buffet. It was provided at the Residenz price but that does not make this unannounced change acceptable. With online communications available, we should at least have been told about the changed breakfast arrangements in advance; failure to communicate is unacceptable in this standard of hotel. Accordingly, and at best, we can therefore only rate it average.

Very nice atmosphere, very nice people at the reception. There is a lot of space in the rooms as well as in the corridors. Everything seemed to me clean and in a good condition. I really recommend this hostel - also as it is very nicely situated in the most interesting and vibrant part of Dresden. The online check-in option seemed to me a little bit buggy still but anyway it finally worked and might have saved some time at the reception. Be aware that if you pay at the reception you might need to pay in cash...

This hotel was chosen for its location near the old city. The hotel is new and everything is very bright and cheerful. The rooms are somewhat smaller than other Melia hotels, but this may be due to the Innside branding. However, the room certainly served us well. We could walk everywhere that we wanted in Dresden. It was also conveniently located near a Lidl grocery store where would get snacks and drinks. With its location to the Altstadt, there were restaurants everywhere. The Dresden Frauenkirche was just a few steps from the hotel. We booked our room with the included breakfast. The breakfast was very good, and there were adequate selections. This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for Dresden.

We spent a night in this hotel. It is very new and clean. The location right at the Elbe is excellent to visit the city centre of Dresden . On foot you are there in half an hour along the Elbe, but also a tram brings a quick to the city centre. Directly before the door is a stop. Breakfast was varied and very good. The breakfast room was a little overfyldd because there were very many guests at the hotel. However, we felt very well and can only recommend this hotel.  We arrived by car and found a free parking place compared to the hotel in the old carpool.

Easy 15 min tram from the Hauptbahnhoff and, as others have noted, highly accessible to both the old and new towns. Don't miss the old-town-sights but as others have mentioned check out the new town as well. Louisenstrasse is about a 10 minute walk but gives you a great neighborhoody feel w/ lots of little eateries, shops and the like. The first night we ate dinner in old town at a touristy place and I wish we'd explored here instead! Anyway, back to the Bilderberg... rooms are a reasonable price and nicely updated. Overall the location feels central but we also got a quiet night's sleep. Apparently there is a rave across the river most weekend evenings that peters out about 10pm with a fireworks display which we could see from our room. Breakfast was worth the upcharge. Would stay here again or recommend to others.
