Stepping out of the gate, we immediately find ourselves on the free beach, where it is not only pleasant to swim, sunbath but also to cycle, walk, kayak and do sports. There is a public parking lot for your car in the opposite direction. Situated in Dunakeszi, Duna Riverside offers beachfront accommodation 16 km from Hungaroring Hungarian Grand Prix Circuit and provides various facilities, such as a garden and barbecue facilities. The property has river and garden views, and is 17 km from Margaret Island Japanese Garden. The accommodation features a fitness centre, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. Some units in the homestay have private entrance and are fitted with desk and wardrobe. All units are fitted with air conditioning, and some have a flat-screen TV, washing machine, a coffee machine, completed with a fully equipped kitchen. At the homestay, each unit includes a private bathroom. The area is popular for cycling and hiking, and bike hire is available at this homestay. A solid performance from a good 'all round' experience. The hotel hasa great location overlooking the Danube. Well placed for nice walks, boat trips and restaurants alike. The hotel serves a thoroughly decent buffet breakfast in pleasant surroundings. The lobby and bar areas are very slick, contemporary styled and show a high degree of imagination. There is a physio /medical facility too. Seems to be very popular - offering a range of treatments. The spa pools are decent and the gym well equipped and a nice atmosphere. Great hotel, excellent stay and would welcome the opportunity to stay there again.

I do have a couple of negatives about this hotel but will start with the positives! 🙂 Beautiful hotel in a pleasant area. Close to heroes square and a 30 min walk into the centre. Large room, balcony with table & chairs & stunning bath/bathroom! Staff on arrival at reception were friendly & the housekeeping team are wonderful. Our room was immaculate & cleaned daily. The negatives 😞 The room was lovely & spacious however the beds were extremely uncomfortable & I didn’t sleep well once during our 5 night stay. Our son had a pop up camp bed which collapsed on the first night due to the legs not being properly in place. There is also no tea or coffee facilities in the room although the welcome book states that you can “request a kettle on a first come first served basis”. There is a coffee machine with pods but you need to pay for that (!) Breakfast was plentiful in choice but was cold every morning regardless of what time we went down. This seems to be a regular mention in reviews so probably should be addressed by management. There is air conditioning in the room but it wasn’t easy to master at all. We ended up having to sleep with our balcony door open which left us to the mercy of mosquitoes! (Pack your repellent!) All in all, this hotel was perfect for our stay and even though I’ll be delighted to get a good nights sleep at home, we would definitely stay here again due to the ease of getting around beautiful Budapest. 🥰

I think it is hard to find a place at this price point in Budapest where you don’t need to share a bathroom that checks all the important marks - it was clean, quiet, had helpful staff, and is in a safe and vibrant neighborhood. Plus it’s cool to say you slept on the Danube river. The only negative was that it is a little outside the tourist areas and is about a half mile from a public transportation station that goes to the main part of town. So adds a little bit of extra walking to your already tired legs. Still though - very happy with this choice.

The room I had at the hotel was good value for money and clean. It was also very quiet at night time and, after a day out walking and seeing the sights of the old city, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. There are buses just around the corner that link to the city centre, and the nearest Metro is not far. The shuttle service the hotel uses is very reliable. The hotel staff will either book up a transfer with them beforehand or customers can do it themselves from an easily located desk at the airport. I found the wi-fi in the room was quite fast and always usable.

As soon as I entered the hotel, I was stunned by the exquisite small lobby, especially the small hot spring pool. The children like it very much, and they don't want to come out when they soak in it. The room is generally small, but tasteful, I don't like to be in a daze in the room except for sleeping. The gym is good. There is a patio beside the hot spring pool. It is very comfortable to lie down in it for a while. It's nice to have a rooftop garden restaurant👍

Just Retuned from a 3 night stay in ibis , heroes square. Arrived late at night. The staff member was very welcoming, check in was a breeze. Our room was on the 4th floor. And was quiet. The reception area was very nice, and there was a bar, so we had a quick beer before we went to our room, after our long journey. The room itself was clean , spacious, and plenty of room to hang your clothes. There was also a safe provided. The bathroom with shower was very clean, and the shower worked perfectly. There was also a TV for use. The breakfast was plentiful and choice was good. However the last day we were there, we went down for breakfast, and there was no plates, no cutlery, not enough hot food ready, also there was no milk in one of the coffee machines.so we had to wait a while for these items to be replenished. We purchased a budapest card to make our stay in budapest easier, we had a great help from the hotel staff directing us places, and organising a shuttle bus service to pick us up from the hotel, to go back to the airport. That was a great help. Thanks again to that staff member 👍 . So , in summary, Room good, hotel staff really good, great location ( bus stop right outside front door, and a subway station just around the corner. Buy a budapest travel card, great value, and great convenience for using all the transport links.) Breakfast- food good, however try not to let things run out as much as we experienced. A couple of things to brush up on, but all in all , a really good stay, and would definitely return 👍

Location in the city center There is a large comprehensive shopping center called west end. The breakfast is very good. The quality is also very good. There are supermarkets nearby. Shopping is convenient.

I had a great time in this hotel enjoying the riverside. Very chill and calm with a spectacular view from my room, but especially from the rooftop bar. I came to the cityBudapest for business, but I really appreciated to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view, the amazing personalized cocktails and the personalities of the bartenders Daniel and Laszi. It felt like we know each other for a long time. This is not your average rooftop bar, where you only see the rooftops itself, here you get a truly amazing view to the river, the island, and the Buda hills. The palinka based personalized pear cocktail was my absolute favorite. If you don't challenge these bartenders to create you a unique cocktail, you are seriously missing out! I only wish there would be a ham&cheese selection, olive oil, bread etc., to accompany the drinks. Great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel, I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you!

Family travel in a hotel that enjoys all spa facilities, thermal bath, massages, fitness room, medical center (cardiologists, ophthalmologists...) A very complete breakfast for the price. A very pleasant staff. I strongly recommend this hotel. The only bemol is the distance from the city but you enjoy peace and silence without price. The bus to the city is in the immediate vicinity.
