It's very peaceful and the hot springs are very comfortable. Looking at the snowy mountain tops in the distance, it feels like a fairy tale. The nearby scenery is also worth exploring. I encountered a small grizzly bear and a deer, and I want to go there again.

Staff was accommodating when we asked to switch our room closer to friends. However, all the room doorways were very narrow for a wheelchair to get through comfortably. Decor is a little outdated; our daughter said it was “like staying in an old lady’s room.”

We were charged 30 something dollar for resort fee even though we checked in at 10:30 pm at night and checked out at 7 am. Didn’t use the hot springs at all but was still charged the “resort fee”. Staff should be allowed to waive it for guests who check in late and leave early.

The resort is showing its age and need of updating.
The guest pools are very cracked and poor painting, it really does NOT give the resort vibe.
Rooms are somewhat clean but sticky drawers, scuffed up doors, broken and floppy headboards are all noticed and makes you wonder why the rates are what they are.
Beds and pillows are comfortable. Robes are a nice touch but the 4 pool towels left in our closet were thread-bare at best.
Staff were not friendly and NONE would look at us but instead look at the ground when passing in the hallway/lobby. Guy that checked us in mentioned ******* 8 times in the less than 10 min experience and lo and behold we got a room on the 6th floor and almost as far away from the pools as possible. A

The pools are wonderful. The rooms and facilities were ok. The hotel feels tired. Dated places can be fine and even fantastic but this one feels uncared for. Also bring your own toilet paper... for the price of the room I'd expect 2 ply at the very least. We had a kitchenette unit and they had 3 fridges crammed in with one out of order. We then needed to change rooms as a guest was smoking and the smell came into our room. The new room was in better condition but there were still lots of little things like chipping paint and uncared for furniture. Additionally the bed was broken. Throughout, the staff were great and helpful. We probably wouldn't stay again unless the price went down or the facilities were upgraded.

The staff and resort was excellent. Even with minor renovations happening the area was tidy and we weren't bothered by the workers. We will definitely be back!

The staff isnt good at all! They avoided doing tasks at all costs. I asked them to clean the room and they just did not do anything. They also charged me a "resort fee" of $100 - so beware of that. Then when I complained that the staff wasnt doing their job they said they would refund me 2 days of resort fee - they did not do that. So they are here to make money but not service clients. I would not recommend this to anyone

Love stayimg here, hotel is nice and being right in nature is wonderful. You often get to see wildlife right outside your window and while your walking or driving around. If you want a great weekend getaway that's quite and relaxing fairmont hotsprings is the place to go. It's very close to Invermere/Windermere/Panarama as well as Radium Hotsprings so you can airways go and visit those places as well.
The hotsprings and pools are within walking distance from almost all the rooms and the guest exclusive hot tub has a 15 walkway from the main hotel out to it for guests to use.
I highly recommend checking this resort out.
