Malinggo Homestay

Had a wonderful time. Sikkim is awesome as well stay at Mallingo. Experienced real sense of "homestay". We had a privacy but still entire Paul family was with us. Excellent food (organic), clean and comfortable stay, full of greenery. Would like to visit again.

Spent a weekend with my friends, who had come to visit. Had a wonderful bonfire and barbecue, while chatting in the evening. Spacious and clean rooms. Absolutely delicious dinner to cap of the night, followed by a scrumptious breakfast. Morning greeted us with a wonderful vista of the surrounding hills, and owing to great weather, we were entranced by the distant snowy peaks. The hosts are absolutely delightful, and Mr. Paul Rai has an inexhaustible wealth of knowledge about the local flora and fauna. If you are sick and tired of parking yourself in the middle of a noisy city during your vacation, this might be the change that you need and deserve.

One of the best homestays in Gangtok. I visited there twice You need to call Mr. Paul and tell him about your arrival dates. He will take care of the start-to-end part of your trip. Bamboo shoot curry is amazing.

Beautiful place, beautiful people. Rooms, ambience are nice. One of the best places to be close to mother nature and peace. Mr. Paul Rai, his son and family are genial and friendly. We got clear view of Kanchanjanga from the watch tower. The sound of the nearby waterfalls is enchanting. Good place to visit ❤️.

The homestay is wonderful as all reviews already point out. But I'd like to also highlight just how lovely the hosts are as people. We were at their homestay when the floods hit. My sister and I were naturally worried about the state of affairs and our own safety. Paul and David however not only made us feel safe but arranged for everything there on - including our safe passage back home. I can't thank them enough for their generous hospitality, and for going above and beyond any call of duty.

One of the best homestay I have visited with my family. Mr. Rai is an amazing host. We were offered organic food made with fresh vegetables from their farm. They welcomed us with so much love and warmth. It’s a peaceful stay in lap of the lush green mountains. You’ll get to see the Kanchenjunga range from Mallinggo homestay. You’ll be greeted with great food and service and also two beautiful pets named beauty and hachi. They’ll be your friends throughout your stay.

We stayed for three wonderful nights in this beautiful place. A great experience in the salubrious climate of Sikkim. Located on a hillside with wonderful unobstructed view of hill all around. The place is just awesome. A perfect getaway from city life for relaxing your senses and indulging in some mouth watering and organic home made authentic sikkimese food. Taking leisure walks amongst hill roads. Walking up to the views of hills with chirping of birds and experiencing nature at its best. The wonderful interaction with Mr Rai and his family who made our stay like family visit looking after our each requirements. The wonderful taste of Tongba and Kodo ko Raksy.... everything was sooooo perfect. Visit this place for enjoying Sikkim like never before....and you would like to come again and again to this wonderful state and this homestay

We stayed at Malinggo Homestay for three nights. The location and surroundings are outstanding. Rooms are neat and clean having all amenities. The view from the room is spectacular. Food quality and services are excellent Mr. Rai and family are the best hosts one can find ever. And the vehicle and driver -cum guide Mr. Kumar they provided us for transportation are superb. That's why I have given 5 star to this property.
