This hotel is very popular with young families, for very good reasons but if you want a quiet retreat keep this in mind If on the other hand you have young children it is a great place."

The decor is beautiful and comfortable. The facilities include TV and Wi-Fi, hair dryer, kitchen with all the necessary household appliances, washing towels and good cleaning. A less positive point is that there is a window on the roof that had no screws, starting the room to get light just when the sun is born."

"The apartment itself is neat and quite spacious, which made the stay generally comfortable. However, the bathroom design is very impractical. The door is made of heavy glass and doesn’t close properly, which means it doesn’t provide much privacy. It feels like a case of style over functionality. We also chose this place partly because it is a bit outside the city and has a restaurant that was highly praised in the reviews. We arrived in the evening tired and hungry, expecting to have dinner there, but it turned out we couldn’t use the restaurant even though it was still within opening hours. The staff told us the entire restaurant was reserved for another group. This situation felt quite ridiculous, especially since no one had informed us about it in advance and no alternative was offered, not even something simple that could be brought to the room. In the end, we had to order food from McDonald’s, which is not really the kind of meal you expect when staying in a place like this... :/ Breakfast was also rather disappointing. The scrambled eggs even had small pieces of eggshell in them, which was quite unpleasant, and there were no vegetables available at all."

Behind the facade was so dirty, I decided to purchase snacks and make an ad hoc picnic. Staff are shamelessly rude. Kitchen: check out the menu of waste pork-cuttings. Slow cooked for reuse"

"The cost is quite a lot for what you get but it does have a certain charm. The main building has some of the rooms then a separate building - some 500 meters away - has the others. Make sure if you are a group you don't book in different buildings! There was a slight feeling of Fawlty Towers when we first arrived with Manuel greeting us not with a hello, but straight into the history of the owner whose picture was on the wall. We got very limited information about the place and then after sorting out the confusion of where the rooms were - we were led off by car to the remote building to settle into slightly different rooms than the ones we orignally booked. The rooms are basic but country charming, and the bed was comfortable. There are limited amenities in the room - but that seemed to be the case with most places outside of the major hotels. Breakfast was around the big table in the main building and was a reasonable European style selection. The second day it was so crowded we had to eat outdoors - which was fine - but had to time getting food while it was still there as the platters, juices etc emptied quickly. We did dinner one night which was quite good and worthwhile given the distance to town."

"For the extremely reasonable room rate we paid for a centrally positioned hotel, I couldn't fault it. Shower gel was provided and two bottles of water. There were also some nespresso pods provided for use in the kitchen. The room was air conditioned, beds reasonably comfortable. There was also a smart TV in the room. Check in was at the cash desk in the Ale-Hop shop next door."
