Splash Landings Hotel

We just got home from a two night stay at splash landings. The first day we went to the waterpark which was really fun although my two were probably a little bit too young 2 and 3. So didn't utilise it much and was restricted but they had fun! The changing rooms for a family were very small and the floors by the lockers are super slippery so be careful. The hotel check in took 25 mins which was annoying as had two very hungry very tired toddlers at this point but was ok after that. The room was lovely, really clean and had a great view of the water park. Peter who was great and really friendly helped me get my luggage from the car and took it all the way to my room! Honestly absolutely amazing bloke. He also gave the children a little gift which was lovely. Such a friendly man, full of smiles and knowledge. In the room we had to take a sheet off the bed due to a bed wetting accident and put it in the bath as per instructions to be changed, the dirty one was removed when we got back to the room but a new sheet wasn't on the bed which wasn't ideal at all. Was a nice room, not overly big but lovely all the same. This morning I wanted a shower at 6:40... Soaped up, shampoo in hair and the water went!! We had no water at all in the bathroom. This wasn't not good and after two sleepless nights, due to over tired toddlers and beds being 6/10 for comfort I really wanted a hot shower. We got two takeaway pizzas from the mar garitas bar and they way nice. Not 10min wait like I was promised but nearly half hour wait at a very quiet time. Quite an expensive two day break. We probably won't return for a few years and when the children are a little bit older. The breakfast was brilliant, food was replenished constantly and was hot. Juice was cold. They could do with serving tap water too. But breakfast was 10/10

Our stay in the hotel was very nice. We liked the park, the room and the waterpark. Everybody was very friendly. Special thanks to Peter. He was very friendly, gave us good advice and gave our kids a little present. Greetings from the Netherlands!

Peter looked after us during our time at Splash Landings hotel. He was brilliant with our son, made him feel very special and gave him some goodies to take home! Peter was so helpful when we needed questions answering and made our trip that bit easier. He certainly does recognition for his hard work and his outstanding customer service.

Best night sleep we have had in a very long time short getaway for me and my husband who havnt had time away in ages, we always enjoy coming here but the first time we have stayed in the hotel we stayed in splash landings and we can’t fault it Peter and Charlie are two of the nicest people we have met so warm and helpfull

Fantastic stay at Splash Landings Hotel. Have stayed before but this time for Fireworks. Hotel was busy but good vibes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good size rooms with a comfy bed. Would highly recommend staying here for a night or a couple if you like theme park or you want to visit the water park

Absolutely brilliant experience from the get go! Peter was a brilliant help and made us feel special the whole time. He really knew his stuff and couldn't have done more for us. The breakfast was delicious! Comfy room, with a treat for the kids waiting for us when we checked in too.

Probably my best time at Alton Towers yet. I've been coming since the early 90s and always seem to find something new when I'm walking between rides. Love the park, rides, hotel and staff were generally really friendly. The new theming around Nemesis is on point too. It's my third stay at Splash Landings and as ever it's been fantastic in every aspect, no complaints.

Wonderful stay here, Peter was fabulous on arrival. He took care of us, explained everything and times for breakfast, evening etc. Perfect start to our little break. Room was great, very clean and spacious. Breakfast was perfect, had everything we wanted. Already planning our next short stay here. Thank you x

Peter who works at the front door greeting all guests into splash landings is probably the best guy I have met very nice and friendly was great with my little one every day he made the effort to talk to us gave us all the information we needed I would stay again just to have chat with him
