Best Hotels in Fort Washington

Very good hotel, the breakfast is also very rich, I think the value for money is very good, I will come back again...

This hotel always have problems with reservations doesn’t matter you do directly in his web page Hilton.com or through another application as Booking. I was lucky that when I stay in that hotel several times and never was straight through until last time they toll me was over booked, my trip was local but is a big deal if you travel from another country or far away and as soon you arrive at front desk your reservation no show up an the answer is just “ sorry we over booked” and you need to find another place in a hurry.

Close proximity to Philly. Very friendly staff, check in was smooth. Very large pool which is perfect for the kids. Starbucks next door was nice. Breakfast (free) was okay, not great, but hey it was free. Bright and large lobby that was clean. Large suite room that provided plenty of room for 3. Bathroom was small, but got the job done. No door between bedroom and suite area. Overall good stay.

Thankfully I checked out today but my first night and the 6am wake up call with the trash cart being pushed up and down the hall way (on a Saturday) is insane. When asked if this was an everyday occurrence they said no and that ”the trash had to be taken out when they have time”. Other than that I had a great night I did have to go and by my own hair dryer. The one provided had very little forced air. My second night I was woke up several times through the night but I gave up and stayed awake at 630. Third night 5am by yelling outside my door. Fourth night it was a 5:08 am yelling from the front desk. I made arrangements that day to change hotels but couldn't for another 2 days because of availability. Fifth night I received the best wake up call ever. A fire alarm at 4:48am. Tried laying back down after but again people were yelling outside my door. I did ask them to stop but they didn't. On my final night there I was again awakened by loud people yelling in the hall way. This is the worst possible place to stay if you work and need sleep. Also its not very safe (theft) and the water pressure sucks. The rooms are not very clean and the hardwood floor was sticky feeling. Probably the worst place I have ever stayed and I have stayed at some crappy places since I travel about 8 months out of the year with work and at least 2 months a year leisurely. Save yourself the sleep and peace of mind and stay somewhere else.

Whenever I come back home to Philadelphia I always stay at this particular location because it’s near WaWa, Chase Bank, Chick-fil-A, Walmart, Starbucks, Home Depot, Willow Grove Mall and it’s convenient to the PA Turnpike….Unfortunately, this time was my last time staying at THIS location. I made my reservation a month in advance (through a Third-Party) and the evening after driving over 15 plus hours I arrive extremely exhausted and checked in… My first impression was it’s dirty, people were hanging around, cigarette butts everywhere, trash everywhere, and the lobby was dirty… The luggage dolly had dog hair on it, I was never told about the $100 deposit when I made the reservation……the first room I was given was Rm 111 it had dirty sheets, it smelled very musty and moldy…the second room I was given was Rm 104 it was not cleaned…the sheets were also dingy and there was feces in the toilet!!!! Clearly indicating it too was not properly cleaned…the 3rd room was Rm 134 it had cobwebs in the corners, I found out later that the shower backed up while I was using it and the toilet would run all night and NO I did not feel like changing rooms again! I just kept the bathroom door closed and kept the television on all night to muffle the sound… anyway the employee “Tresvor” (not sure if it’s spelled correctly) said that he was going to refund me my money for my inconvenience ($654 plus the $100 deposit) the next morning I received a phone call from the “manager” who told me that I was told in error about the refund and that I was only going to be refunded for only one night…an hour later I received another phone telling me about an audit and that I have to pay for my stay $523… this action and the employees error caused my bank account to be frozen which inconvenient me for 2 days! Now on a bright note: if you wanna stay at an Extended Stay America in Horsham, PA PLEASE stay at the one at 537 Dresher Road! The staff is nicer, the parking lot is clean, the outside is well maintained, the lobby is clean, it’s quieter and the room was immaculate!!!

Stayed here for 2 days 1 night for my first solo work trip and it was great after not traveling for so long. I messaged the hotel via the Homewood Suites app about early check in as I would arrive at the hotel prior to check-time time and the concierge promptly responded in timely manner. They said they can't guarantee it but will note it down for housekeeping. Upon arrival, I spoke with the receptionist who was the one who I conversated with via app. I waited about 10 minutes and I was able to get the keys to my room, 404. While waiting, I noticed there is a breakfast area and business center. There is also a gym and pool but I wasn't able to use these unfortunately. Upon entering my room, I noticed it was clean and faced the parking lot and had alot of natural sunlight which I appreciated. I looked over the entire room and thoroughly examined the bed because I have a fear of carrying bed bugs home and it passed my expectations. Very clean and comfortable space. There are stores nearby you can go to such as Hobby Lobby and Walmart too. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

To start off, the non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes or something similar; the smell didn't go away after two nights. The HVAC system was in need of servicing and sounded awful. The shower stall was in need of cleaning and showed evidence of ”pink mold.” I forgot to pack shampoo and conditioner and went down to the front desk to request some (since it wasn't provided in the room). It was 1:00 AM and the lights above the front desk were turned off and no one was around. I waited ten minutes, called to the manager's office where the lights were on but no luck. I finally walked into the manager's office to see if anyone was around. Ghost town. I skipped washing my hair that night. Sigh. Sat morning I went to breakfast

On the plus side, Our hotel was pretty close to our destination. However, We didn’t have a tv remote in our room. The lobby smelled like someone was smoking in it and our room smelled like hippie stoners baked it out for a week. Also, our blanket had a hole in it like someone burnt it with a cigarette. Other than the smells and the hole everything else seemed clean.

The hotel is free of charge, and the foreign breakfast is almost quite rich. The hotel is clean and the location is very quiet. It is casual and comfortable. There are more Americans living in the hotel.
