This beautiful home is family owned for years and has that feel for sure. Nestled by a lake at the end of a golf course road. Great if you like to golf. Beautiful. Ethel is a very sweet lovely person and we enjoyed our chats for sure. Close to town and dining. Don't miss powers pub! Especially on a Sunday afternoon. Only 30 mins from Galway and a short drive to the Connemara mountains. A must stop and great location.

Lovely B&B in the country. Beautiful flower gardens and fantastic views from the house. Clean, comfortable room. We had a fantastic breakfast with a variety of options. Nice sitting room and breakfast room. Cute donkeys in the pasture across the road. Couldn’t have ask for more from this lovely host.

Room was comfy, great breakfasts, nice location laneway to house runs through a golf course. The lakeview is beautifyl. Very peaceful and quiet. Hostess was very friendly and we cold tell she loved what she does and where she is located.

The setting of this beautiful old home is on a lake, with breathtaking gardens. Ethel is a wonderful host, making you feel at home and welcome. She arranged a cab for us to go into the center of town for supper, and both of her supper recommendations were spot on. Liam the cab driver was lovely, and came back for us as arranged. We were three sisters travelling together, and the room provided was perfect. We spent some time in the afternoon chatting with Ethel in the garden, and it was like chatting with old friends. Ricky, Dicky and Tayto add to the experience. We would return here in an instant!

Very comfortable beds in a beautiful spacious room. Excellent breakfast and great Wi-Fi. Ethel is a great host with plenty of information on the surrounding area. Close to superb restaurants in nearby Oughterard. The home and surrounding grounds are stunning. Plenty of convenient parking. Located behind the Oughterard Golf Club on N59. Convenient to Galway and scenic drives in the Connemara area. The best drive is a shortcut between N59 & R344 on the way to Kylemore Abbey called Flanagans Road. This is a single lane road through sheep country. Beware of the sheep lying on the road. Bryan & Eileen

Très agréable B&B superbement situé face au Lac Corrib. Maîtresse de maison aux petits soins. Belle grande chambres façe au Lac. Bon petit déjeuner. Route très étroite pour y arriver (il vaut mieux arriver en journée...) Bien situé pour découvrir le Connemara. Un peu loin (par rapport à ce que je m'imaginais) de Galway (beaucoup de circulation env. 30/45 min) Petit village de Oughterard très proche mais avec peu de choix de pubs/restaurant (donc beaucoup de monde en saison...)

Nous avons séjourné dans cet établissement pour une nuit. Le cadre est exceptionnel avec la vue sur le lac et un jardin splendide. L’hôtesse est très sympathique et nous a donné plein de bons conseils sur la région. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très varié. A recommander sans hésiter

L'accueil est très agréable. Ethel vous présente sa maison et vous donne toutes les explications de façon très aimable. Elle est très dévouée. La maison est dans un site exceptionnel, au milieu des bois et au bord du lac Corrib avec une vue époustouflante depuis les chambres et depuis la salle du petit-déjeuner. C'est très apaisant.
