Excellent staff, came in off the west highland way without a booking and they took me in! Good pitch area for backpackers just a minutes walk from the toilets. Shop offers a decent selection of goods. They also gave me a loan of some pegs and a mallet as i was struggling with my own stuff. A must for all who are backpacking the whw! Keep it up team! Thanks for a great stay

Great campsite. Nice position and great staff. Clean showers and toilets. Great spot for a sun set. Plenty of space and beach walks. Sorry I can’t think of anything else to say …*****************^******^^^*********^*^^^^^^^^^^******

We traveled from Plymouth and were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome from the very friendly staff, enjoyed amazing views, and found the site clean and tidy. Everything you need for a relaxing break was provided. The site facilities were excellent, accommodating both disabled and non-disabled guests. Thank you

Nice spot along the way. Great location. They claim never to turn a backpacker away which sold this site for me. Would stay again. Showers not amazing but did the job

We have just spent 4 nights at Cashel, we had a lovely quiet pitch surrounded by stunning scenery. The site facilities were excellent, catering for both disabled and non-disabled people. There were plenty of fresh drinking water sites, and also for waste water and elsen disposable sites. Both the Owners and Staff we're very helpful and polite. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Visited for 10 days in September. Lovely site, again got a pitch on the side of the loch with unrivalled views. Although I did say to my husband there really isnt a bad pitch to be had on teh site! We had our 2 dogs with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the water! One of our dogs is a puppy, and this was his first time allowed out for walks, and the staff made a fuss of him which he loved!! Walks straight off the site, the site was always clean and well looked after. The showers were clean & had hot water. Will return to this site, it is one of our absolute favourites.

Spent a couple of days in our motorhome here. Beautiful views of Loch Lomond, very helpful and nice staff plus clean facilities. No public transport but most campers come for watersports and walking. Nearby Forestry Centre for info on walks. 🙂

Stayed here on a spur-of-the-moment decision to go camping for the weekend, and not disappointed. In fact, the entire weekend was flawless. Check-in is a simple process, I particularly like the automatic barrier which reads your number plate, only allowing access to those who have booked. Our tent pitch had a fantastic view of the loch, we couldn’t have asked for better. The staff at check-in were very helpful and friendly, and told us the do’s and don’ts of the site, which I like, as it means the site remains a quiet and safe place for everyone. The facilities were modern and spotlessly clean, I regularly saw staff members checking to make sure they were of a high standard. There’s a shop on site but this only sells basics. If you’re looking to stock up on food I’d recommend going to the Spar in Drymen (7 miles away) or the Co-Op in Balloch before you get here, you’re not going to get a full family shopping on-site but again that’s ok. I fully appreciate that we were extremely lucky with the weather (a heatwave in September) but to be honest it wouldn’t matter. The site is in a beautiful location on the East side of Loch Lomond so if you’re coming here, bear in mind that it’s Scotland, not Bermuda so the weather can change in a moment. To sum up, I was extremely impressed with the site and it’s going to take a lot to beat it. Thank you for a great weekend, and will definitely return
