The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points.
The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself.
Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.

The stay at this Hotel was amazing. Vikesh and Michael where the two managers and upgraded our rooms because we had a small problem with our original room. the wait staff where amazing Raj,Shanish and Minesh kept me well hydrated. Ryan and Lenado where our fantastic waitors. They have a brilliant chef Adhil that served 5 star and Michelin quality food. i would recommend this hotel to any travllers. it is a short distance from Grand Baie central that you can catch a taxi or take a walk too. the nicer beaches are also a short drive away.there are a few average beaches within walking distance

Such a warm welcome. The staff really go out of their way to support and assist. When we needed a different room due to a small maintenance issue, it was immediately resolved and baggage moved for us. They took extra care to make sure I had gluten free bread. They made my husband's birthday really special and our 23rd Wedding Anniversary breakfast as well. All on all the hotel staff are the actual experience. Vikesh and Michael was exceptional in their duties and would recommend guests to connect with them. Thank you Ocean V for a pleasant stay.

Last hotel from our trip didn't dissapoint, located 3 min walk to Perybere beach ( amazing sand beach, gren/clear blue water) is a fairly new hotel. Has slso an asian cousine restaurant inside where the chef is cooking in front of you, very nice bar and has a roof too with amazing view. Staff amazing from the cleaning crew to the top managers, they really are making sure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable, thank you to all But the most Thank You goes to the assistant manager Sandren, he is really good at what he does and we appreciated his eforts to keep us happy through or stay. Well done you all ❤️❤️❤️

Although I do agree some upgrades could be made, it never took anything away from our holiday. My husband and I had the time of our lives and we were treated like royalty. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and their service is top notch. Some of the team that took extra special care of us were Jean Francois, Manesh, Fabrice and Sunshine. Thank you so much for making our experience so special. We also had the most amazing food, which was a treat. Thank you Luli for our clean and tidy room every day. There are people who weren't happy that the hotel isn't on the beach and a road has to be crossed to get there. This also did not take anything away from our experience. We are hoping to go back in around two years and wouldn't change anything.
