"Tropical Island itself is quite nice. Unfortunately, they don't just close one of the two pools, they close one pool completely, and then you're only allowed to swim in the second pool in a very small, cordoned-off area. This doesn't reflect what's promised on the website. Unfortunately, the mattress in the safari tent where we slept was broken and torn, and the fresh sheets were bloody with old stains. The food on site is expensive, but not much better than the canteen."
