My wife & I stayed here on 2 separate occasions during a 2 week road trip thru New Mexico & Arizona. The first time we stayed we had reservations for the night, but were caught in a sudden blizzard about 100 miles north of Holbrook late that morning. After a hazardous drive thru the blizzard we arrived at the hotel where the manager Dr Dan let us check in 2 hours early. We spent the rest of the day in the pool & hot tub, doing laundry & relaxing until the blizzard was over. About a week later on our way home we stayed here again & were able to enjoy the pool & hot tub again. The only issues here is that the only hot items for breakfast are sausage links & waffles that you make. However, you can have a nice hot breakfast if you think outside the box. Thank you Dr. Dan!

I arrived after a thunderstorm had knocked out the power to this side of Holbrook. The Desk Attendant (Alisa) went above and beyond to try to make sure I had a room and was able to check in even though the power was out (affecting the reservation computer, electronic key format machine, etc.). The power eventually came on, but all the electronic equipment took time to come back on line. Just as I was leaving to get something to eat, she ran out the door and said the key machine had come back on and she handed me a card. She was great.

We wanted to have a few days to just decompress, and this place was perfect. No housekeeping knocking every day, they call to see if you want housekeeping, then let you decide if/when you want them to come into your room. Everyone was very nice, and made our stay wonderful.

Everyone we interacted with was so nice and helpful. First, the man working when we checked in was just extremely friendly, and not in a fake way - we even talked about the rock collection at the front desk. And he helped us carry our bags upstairs! (I'm not sure anyone at a Super 8 has ever done that for us!!) But then, at about midnight, we were awoken by my daughter throwing up. :( When I went downstairs to tell the (different) guy at the front desk that I needed a bag for the bedspread and that it would need to be washed immediately (even though I'd already washed it off a bit in the shower), he was so kind about it. He even helped with info about where we could go to get medicine for her at such a late hour. And then the next morning when I went down to ask for more towels, he was still there and he asked how my daughter was doing!

First, the man working when we checked in was just extremely friendly, and not in a fake way - we even talked about the rock collection at the front desk. And he helped us carry our bags upstairs! But then, at about midnight, we were awoken by my daughter throwing up. :( When I went downstairs to tell the (different) guy at the front desk that I needed a bag for the bedspread and that it would need to be washed immediately (even though I'd already washed it off a bit in the shower), he was so kind about it. He even helped with info about where we could go to get medicine for her at such a late hour. And then the next morning when I went down to ask for more towels, he was still there and he asked how my daughter was doing!

After a hazardous drive thru the blizzard we arrived at the hotel where the manager Dr Dan let us check in 2 hours early. We spent the rest of the day in the pool & hot tub, doing laundry & relaxing until the blizzard was over. About a week later on our way home we stayed here again & were able to enjoy the pool & hot tub again. The only issues here is that the only hot items for breakfast are sausage links & waffles that you make. However, you can have a nice hot breakfast if you think outside the box. Thank you Dr. Dan!

I arrived after a thunderstorm had knocked out the power to this side of Holbrook. The Desk Attendant (Alisa) went above and beyond to try to make sure I had a room and was able to check in even though the power was out (affecting the reservation computer, electronic key format machine, etc.). The power eventually came on, but all the electronic equipment took time to come back on line. Just as I was leaving to get something to eat, she ran out the door and said the key machine had come back on and she handed me a card. She was great.
