I chose this place for a sudden family trip and it was really nice. Although it may not be as sophisticated and classy as a hotel, it has a unique, friendly a**osphere, like a grandmother's house in the countryside or a deep mountain cabin. The location is not in the city, so it is a bit remote, and there are only mountains and rivers without a convenience store, but I think I liked that. I was satisfied because it was my first trip in a long time because I wanted to be surrounded by mountains rather than buildings. Due to the location and the nature of the rooms, I think it would be especially nice in the summer, but in the winter, the mountains were covered in snow so it was nice. And the owner was really kind and considerate, which made my stay more pleasant. We work at a cafe together, and I really enjoyed the coffee I drank there before leaving, the conversation I had with the owner, and the ukulele performance the owner willingly showed me. Hongcheon doesn't seem to be a place that many people travel to because the surrounding area is mostly mountainous, but it seems like a good place to get away from the city for a while and enjoy nature. If you come to Hongcheon, Sicily Pension would be a good choice for accommodation!

First of all, I had to go on an urgent weekend trip. Reservations are easy and the owner is friendly. It was so good. If you add 20,000 won, you can also use the barbecue. Tableware, disposable toothbrush, shampoo, body wash, etc. It was nice that everything was provided. I heard the scenery is nice and there is a cafe in the center. It's a shame I couldn't taste it. I am satisfied with the accommodation.

It was so cozy and clean! There was a wooden sofa, TV, stove, a table that could be put in and taken out, and a veranda! There was a table on the veranda and some books. They also provided disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom. You decorated the garden really beautifully! I called to say I was going home and they came to pick me up. It was a really nice place. The owner was also very friendly ^^

Owner is nice and friendly. There is a big and nice garden in the property which makes it unique. There is also a cafe which is a bonus. The property is located in the hills with fresh air and is quiet. Will visit the property again.

From the moment we arrived, Sicily Pension exceeded our expectations. The owner was very kind and helpful and provided everything we expected and more. The pension itself is very nice, extremely clean and well maintained. I hope to return again during a different season to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Due to a sudden schedule, I had to stay overnight in Hongcheon, so I quickly booked a pension with a barbecue rather than a motel. The surrounding environment was nice, with lots of trees, and the owners were friendly. It seems like it's been a few years since the interior was renovated, and the bathroom smells a bit unpleasant, although I'm not sure if it's disinfectant... There was an outdoor table and grill near each room, so it was great for grilling meat in the evening, but there was a risk of mosquitoes and insects gathering after dark. Fortunately, they helped by lighting mosquito incense and bringing bug repellents. For reference, the charcoal service for the grill is 15,000 won. Even after the two of us grilled the meat, the fire stayed alive for a while, so it would be enough for a barbecue party for four people.

It's better not to think about eating anything there. The cleanliness of the kitchen was not good, so I had to eat breakfast outside.
