Paris Hostels

First hostel experience, very friendly staff and cool concept. I experienced the record breaking heatwave in this hostel and it was wicked but the whole city was miserable. I was in the military so I’m used to sleeping in smaller hot boxed coffins so it was okay for me but others might have a problem with it. I can’t speak for how it compares to other hostels but I had a good time and I’ll probably come back again when it Europe cools down. I stayed here for four nights then extended another four on their program.

We stayed in the Double Room with Kitchenette.  Starting with the bad here because we feel it needs to be mentioned, as a lot of stuff you wouldn’t be able to tell from reviews or the room pictures and description; the room is ground floor and faces a loud, busy street. It shares a wall with the other double room with kitchenette, which you can hear right through they may as well be in the room with you. We also had locals drinking on the street outside the Franprix across the road til the late hours on a Sunday night. This was our biggest gripe, it’s difficult to sleep both at night and in the morning. Because it’s in a touristy location right next to Sacre Cuore, there are lots of shops opening their shutters and people walking right outside the room in the mornings. We both had to use ear plugs to get through the noise. Worth mentioning but not a massive deal for us is that the fridge wasn’t cleared from the past tenants.  The good - location. It’s right next to Sacre Cuore and Montmarte, making it super easy to get around and explore the area. There’s plenty of eateries, coffee shops and pretty streets to see nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful.  Overall, we loved the location but would never stay in the same room again. We think that it should be made clearer that it sits on the ground floor.

The bed was comfortable and the bedding was very cozy. The bartenders at the counter were very helpful, and the coffee was delicious. It's very close to any metro station. Père Lachaise Cemetery is about a 20-minute walk from the hotel.

I stayed at this hostel for 6 consecutive days, and my overall experience was fantastic. The price was very reasonable for Paris, and there's a shop right next door. On the 6th floor, there's a common area where you can eat, drink, and many people work there too. I stayed in a room type where the restrooms were shared per floor; they were very clean and not crowded. Even the shower stalls, despite being small, had good wet/dry separation. The beds were clean, though the ladder to the top bunk was a bit noisy when climbing. All beds had curtains, but no USB outlets, only a narrow alcove for small items. Although the hostel isn't right by the main attractions, its location is excellent. The Nation station downstairs has many lines, many of which go directly to popular sights. What's even better is that the hostel has air conditioning! The cooling power was superb, helping me survive a 40-degree Celsius day. All in all, a highly recommended hostel!

Absolutely perfect! The front desk service was excellent. I always thought this neighborhood would be chaotic, but it actually felt pretty safe. For this price, what more could you ask for? The only thing I found a bit difficult to adjust to was that everyone went to bed very early and woke up very late. I was worried about disturbing my roommates.

The staff were really nice and helpful! The hostel itself is decent, and the value for money is more than satisfactory. They prioritize cleanliness, so the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Unfortunately, I couldn't give it a perfect score because cockroaches were scurrying around the room at night. The location is okay, as the hostel is easily accessible by bus and train. Gare du Nord and Gare de L'Est are about 10 minutes away by public transport. However, I have to deduct points here too, because there were several homeless people sleeping outside the door who were a bit noisy at night. Since these were predominantly men, it could feel a bit intimidating for a woman to be out alone after sunset/at night. In a group, I don't see a problem. The people weren't intrusive or malicious, but as a solo female traveler, I just felt a bit uneasy (personal feeling, they didn't do anything to me). All in all, I can say it was a good stay.

Overall, the accommodation is quite good. There's an elevator, which is very convenient. It's close to subway line 7, making transportation easy. What I'm not entirely satisfied with is having to go downstairs to boil water and heat food. Every time I need to boil water, I have to go to the bar to ask for help, which is a bit inconvenient because there are no utensils for eating (bowls, chopsticks, spoons, forks...). It would be more convenient if each floor had its own dining area. Each floor shares a bathroom for all rooms. The room is a bit stuffy and has body odor; a fan is needed for ventilation because it's very noisy when the window is open. An exhaust fan would reduce body odor and improve air quality. There's a small bar on the ground floor, convenient for eating and drinking. There are also many restaurants and minibars nearby, which is very convenient.

This is simply a fantastic option for solo travelers. I think it used to be a full hotel, and then some of the rooms were converted into shared dorms, which are very comfortable. There's air conditioning, clean, good quality linen, a comfortable bed, and everything is thought out down to the smallest detail: a locker under the bed with built-in light, thick blackout curtains, individual powerful outlets for everyone. Everything is clean and pleasant to be in. The common areas are also very nice. The room itself was quiet, but on both nights I stayed, the fire alarm went off throughout the entire hotel around 2 AM. We never understood what that was about. The hotel is conveniently located with great transport links, and there are many shops, restaurants, bistros, and public transport stops nearby. The staff are very attentive and genuinely lovely people, and even the other guests seemed quite respectable. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

The website shows one address, when I arrived at this hostel, I was sent to the next one - 3 minutes walk away from the center, in my hostel they charged me an additional 3 euros as a membership fee, since they are a non-profit organization. although this is not indicated on the website. We were allowed to leave our things. A simple breakfast is included - some buns and yogurt, a shower in the room, a toilet on the floor. I was told that Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, but the signal reached me. a large hall, many tables, a kettle and a microwave oven.

Классный отель! Удобно расположен. Приветливый персонал. У меня был номер на одного с душем, туалет на этаже. Все устроило. Завтрак скромный, но есть холодильник, можно разнообразить завтрак, кого не устраивает. Рядом много продуктовых магазинов на любой вкус и кошелек. Кровать удобная, да, пододеяльника, мыла, полотенца не было, но была к этому готова, поэтому ничего не смутило. Не знаю убирался ли номер, в первый день только мусор исчез из ведра, потом ничего не менялось. Под окном кафешки - в выходные шумновато, но когда весь день гуляешь по Парижу, ничего не мешает уснуть. Контингент в основном молодежь, но встречались и пожилые. Лифт работал, в отеле никто не шумел, туалет чистый на этаже на 4 комнаты, проблем никаких не было. В общем рекомендую!
