Swiss Hotel services are very out standing. Serene and classy.. The services is much more than their rate. When I first heard of the hotel,didn't believe what a heard about the awesomeness and hospitality. Until I visited the first time,I was surprised their services was much more cooler than I expected. Since then I don't ever use anywhere else whenever am on holiday or leave. Swiss Hotel is one of the best guys! It is a place to be.. Give it a trial.

We stayed for only one night and it was one night too many. The Google reviews will mainly focus on the rude or inappropriate behavior of the front desk staff. However, I did not have that experience. Blank was very cordial and assisted in showing rooms before booking. But the A/C behind them doesn't even work, so they are hot and most likely annoyed and uncomfortable by the time guests start to check in mid-afternoon. It's even worse in the evening and that entire hallway is just too hot and stifling. So people should think twice before judging rude demeanor when it's actual lack of comfort. In their shoes, you wouldn't be so jovial either. Rooms: We came for the standard room (N21K) and were also shown the Deluxe. Deluxe (N25-26K) was decent but we just opted for the standard room. That lasted 1 min after our bags were brought into the room. Four luggages made the space already too tight. So we decided to upgrade to the Deluxe. While my husband went to do that, is when I really started to notice differences. The standard room (#8) was very dimly lit and didn't have a fridge, and I remembered the Deluxe had one. The curtains block off the most atrocious view and the bathroom is the size of a public stall, including the shower. Now my husband comes back stating that she will also show us the Executive (N30K). The Executive is what most people would probably expect for a Deluxe. We finalized for the Executive. The saying is that you pay for what you get, but you don't always get what you pay for. Issue#1- The AC which goes no lower than 17C will feel like a nice mid-powered fan, not an actual air con. Issue#2- The shower doesn't drain at all and the water is dirty. The color is like light urine. We found this out at the convenient hour of 8 pm, when ready to shower. Called the front desk, who said plumbing was coming. We assumed it would be on-site staff, but it was an actual outside party, who just sent two boys to do what, we don't even know. They literally asked my husband what he wants them to do. My husband is actually telling them to get a plunger or something. They tinkered around and said that it's the plumbing of how the building was first made and there is nothing they can do now; that maybe....yes, MAYBE, they will see in the morning. Issue#3- The toilet seat is not attached to the commode. It's not even broken. You can see that it was just defective from the very beginning and they just propped it on the commode and has been used that way ever since. Can you imagine? Issue#4- No hot water....or so we thought. We kept complaining that there wasn't any hot water, but was told there is. I begged for her to come and see for herself, if she didn't believe me. Then another girl says, oh....it's probably off. Let me come turn it on. You can go to your room and it will be on in a min. Really??? But why would it be off in the first place??? Brilliant Experience!!!had a fantastic stay at the Lagos Intercontinental with my family, I stayed in a corner suite on the top floor which was just fantastic with ocean view. The room was large, with a great sitting area and large bath/shower room, with separate guest WC. The air conditioning was perfect and kept the room cool at all times. The hotel provided a high standard buffet breakfast, a fantastic bar area by the outdoor pool for relaxation. There is 24hrs security all around the hotel so I had no worries with safety. Also, Brilliant house keeping staff were all deligent.... Fatai, Chidi and rest-made my suite cleaner throughout my stay with full customer satisfaction. I would say right from check-in counter, to room service, breakfast and ordering food /drinks were excellent I will specially like to say a big thank you to front desk managers from the 2 Mr Adebayos Femi, Amarah and Mr John whom were all professional and did made my 2 weeks stay a memorable. I was well looked after and took care of all my complaints and making sure i was comfortable throughout. Thank you guys, you all are absolute gem, so helpful and friendly. I shall certainly return soon with my family for more heavenly experience. Cheers all.

For a hotel at this price range, you should expect something better. The front desk was very unwelcoming, no smile, not at all helpful. The room although big, but empty, just the bed and a table and chair in one corner. The bathroom was very clean and the towels (but never complete) was always changed on a daily basis and the room made even though I had the sign do not disturb on! They has complimentary drinks in the fridge which included beer and soft drinks all free. Breakfast was your usual typical Nigerian food nothing to write about. The dinning room was way at the back of the hotel, if it rains you will have problems accessing it. The table cloth were all old and cheap quality for this standard, very disappointing. Had a room facing the lagoon, nice view. Overall I score this hotel average.

Took awhile to get checked in. The Porter took us up to a room that sank of cigarette smoke and ****. They had sprayed profuse amounts of air freshener in an attempt to mask the smell. It didn't work and both smells would either make you nauseous or give one a headache. I asked for another room...i wasn't happy when there wasn't one in my range available (admittedly it was vals weekend) as they tried to arm twist me to paying for an upgrade. I refused and asked for a refund. The pleasant manager calmed me down and asked me to hold on. I went to have a pleasant meal in their restaurant. Luckily they made up another room for us. It didn't smell as bad. But in a rush...they forgot our bottled water and extra towel. Twas a nuisance. Later we went to the pool for drinks...i was dissapointed with the cocktails and a horrible fried ice cream cake. Lastly next to us were a bunch of poorly unkempt boys...one was smoking a joint...explains lot of public places smelt of ****...it was a case of either I wasn't meant to stay here or those guys shouldn't be there smoking ****..the hotel TV system is a bit of a pain to operate...and fabric seats in the room was not good...you could see stains not unlike semen...very off putting....but the rooms were a really good size, Good acs and decent price for Victoria island.....i would stay there again...hopefully they would have stopped people from smoking **** there..
