"We had a very quiet and romantic stay in the sarann Koh Samui, perfect for couples who want privacy and a peaceful environment. The location and amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. However, the bed was a bit too soft for our preference, the Wi-Fi connection was quite poor during our stay, and one of the lamps in the room was not working. Overall, it’s a lovely place for a romantic getaway, but a few small improvements would make the experience even better."

"The hotel doesn't quite live up to a 5-star rating. However, it does have pleasant grounds, two pools, and a restaurant. The breakfasts are decent, with a good variety on offer, but they're rather uninspired and not particularly delicious. On the plus side, the coffee is good. The cocktails at the bar during the day were disappointing (we tried a Piña Colada once and weren't tempted to order another). A major highlight is the excellent direct beach access with sun loungers. The beach itself is fantastic. We were very pleased to see security on the beach who also helped set up umbrellas and arrange sun loungers. There's also a staff member with a first aid kit to treat cuts from corals – a very thoughtful touch (which we actually needed assistance with). Among the obvious drawbacks, the soundproofing in the rooms is extremely poor. We ended up with noisy neighbors who were also smoking ******** on their balcony (though it's legalized in Thailand). As a result, our room smelled terrible, and the noisy parties made it impossible for us to relax. On the bright side, when we reported this to reception, they immediately gave us a key to another room so we could get some much-needed sleep there, which we did. In terms of service, the hotel staff deserves a 5/5. Housekeeping and room comfort would get a 3/5 each, and breakfasts a 4/5. Overall, I'd give it a four out of five."

"I stayed at Samaya Wellness Resort for two weeks. The staff were consistently pleasant and the room was always kept clean. The buffet-style breakfast was okay but those who stay for longer visits may find it to be lacking in variety. There are plenty of nearby reasonably priced restaurants. The resort has two pools - the one I used was small but good for exercise. The biggest drawback for me was that it was not possible to swim in the water off the beach. After going out into waste deep water, one's feet can be shredded by the rocks. Other beaches may be preferrable if one wants t swim in the ocean."

"I initially thought I'd found a hidden gem, but after checking in, I realized it wasn't beachfront – it's actually across the road and quite a distance from the sea. That said, the environment is truly nice, and the pool and beach are freely accessible."

"Great location on the beach, staff very friendly and helpful! Helped us to hire a moped so no deposit or passport needed. Did have to request clean sheets as ours was stained but these were replaced straight away. Good restaurant on site."

"Five-star rating all around! Huge thanks to Nan for all the care and attention. The sliding door in the room was a bit stiff, which wasn't really an issue, but they insisted on fixing it anyway. I loved the Panpuri toiletries, the well-stocked mini-bar, and the coffee machine with capsules available for free. Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, and the view was fantastic. The pool villa had direct access to the beach, and you could even walk to Cocotams from there."

"We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights in January. It's located in the northern part of Chaweng Beach, away from the noisy nightlife. The location is convenient, but the sea itself in this part of the beach isn't great: lots of seaweed and rocks. The hotel staff were friendly and moved us to a more convenient room upon our request (the original one was on the ground floor, right by a walkway). The rooms themselves are spacious, everything is as described. For breakfast, the variety isn't huge, and some of the local dishes are quite spicy. I'd rate the breakfast 3 out of 5. Everything else was excellent."

"This excellent hotel is not in the middle of the great action, but therefore quiet and beautiful. There are restaurants and a seven eleven in walking distance, as is a scooter rental and laundry. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable and with a lot of lovely details. We loved jumping in the pool straight out of our room! Unfortunately you can only swim at the beach at high tide but it is nice to sit and enjoy the sun and the second swimming-pool. The restaurant is basic for breakfast, snacks or a meal. The only downside might be the planes from the airport, but we just ignored them."

"We stayed at the hotel for a week, booking a room on the second floor with a sea view. However, due to the bar's roof, the sea wasn't visible; we had a pool view instead. The hotel itself is small and compact, located not far from the Grandpa and Grandma rocks, with a small street nearby offering souvenirs and cafes. The room wasn't very large, but the shower room with the toilet was spacious. There was a noticeable damp smell, though. Our room was equipped with a bed, air conditioning, a few tables, a chair, a large mirror (a rarity for Thailand!), a lighted cosmetic mirror, a wardrobe, a luggage rack, a fridge, a kettle, a tea set, and sachets of coffee, tea, and sugar. A welcome fruit plate was also provided. Beach towels were available, along with a large rubber beach bag, which was very convenient. Slippers and a full set of toiletries were included: cotton pads, cotton buds, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, and hair conditioner. We dried our clothes either on the balcony or in the shower, and everything seemed to dry fine. There's a TV, and we found Russian videos on YouTube, so we weren't bored if we stayed in the room in the evenings. We were quite surprised by the lack of an iron, but it seems that ironing isn't common there, so not all hotels provide them. 7/11 stores are within walking distance, and prices are reasonable, though beer is cheaper by the pack at the Macro hypermarket. We had breakfast included, but didn't go every day. Breakfasts were decent; not super varied, but we never left hungry – everything tasted good. They served a fruit plate, a plate with cheese/butter/ham, and you could order either an omelet or scrambled eggs, with optional bacon and cheese. The coffee from the machine was quite strong, even with milk. There was always a crispy baguette, toast bread with a toaster, and a variety of fruits like rambutan, bananas, passion fruit, and watermelon (which varied daily). Yogurts, muesli, pastries, cookies, cucumbers, tomatoes, and leafy salad were also available. Getting to Lamai night market on foot takes almost an hour, by taxi it's about 200 baht, and walking directly along the beach takes about 25 minutes. There's a small food market towards the Red Temple, which also has live music and a small trampoline for kids. Prices there are dirt cheap. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The beach near the hotel has some rocks, but if you walk a bit to the left, there are fewer rocks and lots of fish. Crabs hang out among the rocks in the mornings. The hotel offers free paddleboards (SUPs) – we took them a couple of times – and also masks and snorkels. We only noticed the latter later, so we had already bought our own. There are dogs living at the hotel, but they are absolutely friendly, usually just chilling among the guests, and only bark at fishermen. No need to be afraid! We arrived before check-in time and had to wait a bit, but we were checked in on schedule. Overall, the hotel is quite good, but a bit far from the nightlife. If you're mobile, getting around the island won't be an issue. There were no Russians at first, then a couple and a man arrived. Primarily, Germans stay there. I give the hotel a solid four out of five stars and wish them prosperity! Thanks for the hospitality!"

"Останавливались в этом отеле на три дня. Зеленая территория, ухоженная. Шикарный завтрак. Очень понравились шоты с имбирем. Разнообразие фруктов, хамон, лосось, зелень. Красивейший пляж и удобные лежаки. Так как это бунгало и отель утопает в зелени. ..был один маленький нюанс..к нам забежали несколько тараканов. Обратились к персоналу и тараканов убрали из номера. Есть ещё комары, надо быстро заходить в домик, чтоб их не запустить. А так отель прекрасен!"
