Halifax Hotels with Wifi

"The hotel was easy to locate and conveniently situated. Our room was clean and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable overnight stay. One aspect of the room layout that felt a bit awkward was the bathroom configuration—the shower and toilet were in a separate room while the sink was located outside of it, which made bathroom use slightly inconvenient. The indoor pool area was nice, though the water could have been a little warmer. Additionally, there were no towels available when we arrived and we had to locate a staff member to obtain some. The onsite parking option for our three-week trip was greatly appreciated and eliminated one potential stress before our travels. The shuttle service to Halifax Airport was punctual and reliable, getting us to the airport safely and on time. The complimentary breakfast was decent, although the hot food items were somewhat slow to be replenished, resulting in a short wait. Overall, this is a solid option for an overnight stay, particularly if you have an early flight from Halifax Airport the next day."

"Hotel is centrally located which is all it has going for it. It’s old and in desperate need of some updates. The pool seemed murky, tiles were broken around the pool, sauna didn’t work in either change room. The worst part was that one of the beds on our room smelled like urine. We called the front desk but couldn’t be moved as the hotel was booked. They brought fresh sheets and sprayed the bed, but you could still smell it. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. For the price you’d be better off staying somewhere else. We stayed in motels that were cleaner than this room."

"I stayed at King's College, which is adjacent to Dalhousie University, where Lucy Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, studied. The historic building and campus are wonderful, and I'm glad I stayed here. The building and facilities are old, so there is no elevator and the toilets are shared on each floor, but they are clean. The room is spacious and has a mini kitchen, but no dishes or pots. There are towels, but no tissues. After checking in, I didn't know how to open the door, so I went to ask, but the two students at the reception desk were very kind and helpful. I had dinner at a Turkish restaurant nearby. The No. 1 bus stop was right next to it, so it was convenient to go to downtown."

"I recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area."
