The hotel's central location is fantastic; it's just a three-bus-stop ride to the train station, and there's a Coop supermarket right next door. Having a microwave, kettle, and fridge was a huge plus – perfect for instant noodles and pre-made meals. The bathroom was spacious and private, complete with a hairdryer. The self check-in system was available in multiple languages, which was very convenient. All in all, a really great stay!"

"The hotel is conveniently located, about an 8-minute walk from Lucerne train station and roughly 10 minutes from the Lucerne boat tours. It's also very high-tech. They'll email you beforehand to fill in your basic check-in details, and you can self-check in when it's time. After checking in, you can use your phone to control the elevator and open your room door directly. The only downside is that the rooms aren't very soundproof. Since it's close to the train station, the sound of passing trains can be quite loud, which might be an issue for guests who are sensitive to noise."

"The hotel felt very secure, and they offered free luggage storage. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, giving directions and even assisting with our itinerary. When we checked in, they provided a map and a QR code for local public transport, which was super convenient for taking the bus. The location is excellent – it's about a 10-minute walk to the bridge shown in the pictures, and also very close to the ferry terminal and train station."

"Good breakfast spread by swiss standards. Room was clean however the underlying structural deficits are hard to miss like bathroom getting wet after a shower as there are no shower curtains. The water is unable to be drained due to lack of drainage hole. The Trip.com booking indicated a city tax of 14 swiss francs but I was charged 16.40 swiss francs on check in for my 2 days stay."

"Big shoutout to Kilian! We checked in late at night, and luckily, we met Kilian, who was so warm, gentlemanly, and kind. He spoke a bit slower, probably to make sure we understood everything, and he was patient and smiling throughout our entire interaction. His attitude was excellent! He even greeted us proactively whenever we saw him. The hotel itself is decent; the rooms are quite spacious, which is nice. However, the facilities are a bit old; the floor in our room creaked when we walked on it. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, not much to choose from, and the taste was pretty average."

"The Swissôtel was indeed expensive and small, but it exceeded my expectations! I'd anticipated it would be tiny for the price, but my friend and I were actually able to open both of our large suitcases comfortably. The front desk staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, taking their time to recommend fun things to do. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious!"

Free 24 hrs coffee/tea, hot water & ice cubes at the café. Location is a plus point. Next to Coop Supermarket and a mall. Bus stop to Lucerne Train Station is right at the door step. Just 3 stops to train station or 10 mins walk to train station. 5-10 mins walk to some places of interest! Staffs are friendly and approachable. I find the environment to be quite and peaceful. Really love the place!"

I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lucerne, but what truly stood out was the amazing staff and their exceptional service. After I checked out, I realized I had accidentally left behind my little plushie elephant, which means a lot to me. The team kindly helped search for it, found it, and even arranged to send it to my next hotel, completely complimentary. I’m incredibly grateful to the staff for their prompt help, thoughtful follow-up, and genuine kindness throughout the whole process. Their willingness to go the extra mile really meant a lot to me. This hotel of Luzern boasts an exceptional location. It’s a convenient walk from the train station even with luggage. Getting to the area’s major attractions is easy. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The rooms are very clean and offer nice city views. Highly recommended—great choice for your stay.

The hotel is conveniently located near Lucerne train station, just a 10-minute walk or a short tram ride away. It's also only a 10-minute walk to the famous Chapel Bridge. The hotel has a modern design, and the rooms are spacious. The only design flaw is that there's no door between the bathroom and the room – I wonder if all rooms have this layout? The bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety. Definitely recommended!

The hotel is more than 500 years old and has a sense of history. The rooms are clean and spacious. The service is warm and welcoming. The restaurant is decorated in a European classical style with a warm flavor. The hotel is in a prime location, close to the river and a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient.

Really was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. Comfortable clean rooms, clean towels, comfortable beds and duvets, super friendly front desk, and really great location. A special mention of the quality breakfast spread which I look forward every morning. Strongly recommended.

Check out these photos of the hotel and the surrounding streets in the early morning, featuring typical European retro architecture with aged red bricks and green tiles. The best part is its proximity to the train station! Just a few steps from the train, you can drop off your luggage and completely free up your hands, avoiding the torture of dragging suitcases over the old town's cobblestone streets. The front desk service was also impeccable, both warm and professional. However, even with such a perfect location and amazing service, there's one fatal flaw – no air conditioning! Who would have thought that Switzerland in late May would defy expectations and be as hot as an oven? Accustomed to powerful air conditioning in Asia, returning to the room at night felt like a complimentary 'Swiss eco-sauna' experience. Location gets full marks, service gets full marks, but for the temperature, we had to rely on our strong willpower for some 'physical cooling'.

Было позднее заселение, для нас оставили конверт с инструкцией и ключами, позвонив на ресепшен оказалось что менеджер говорит на 6 языках, в том числе и по русски, провел инструктаж удаленно. Отдельная благодарность менеджеру Bangin Salih за оперативную помощь с заселением и внимательное отношение к гостям. Было приятно чувствовать заботу и готовность помочь в любой ситуации. Очень порадовало качество постельного белья, а одеяло и подушки словно облако 💔 Чистота, сервис и особенно завтрак выше всех похвал 😍

Hotel was in a great location, room was clean and very nice, bed was comfortable, and view was nice. Our bathroom was across the hall from our bedroom-- which though a little strange --didn't cause us any issues as it was private and clean (and huge). The only critique I have would be about the self check-in. I understand the goals of having a streamlined check-in process, but we didn't recieve the email with instructions, and had no answer to an email of inquiry. It took me phoning the hotel's administration to get an answer, in which the woman was very helpful, but did take away some of our time in Lucerne. If there was a more straightforward process that did not involve using the machine at the front door, as well as having clearer instructions on checking out, the stay would have been perfect.
