"We arrived after 10 PM. I was a bit hesitant about taking a taxi, as I'd seen previous guest comments mentioning safety concerns. However, the area around the airport metro station was quite lively, and the hotel was just a short walk, a few hundred meters, off the main road. The front desk staff were lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Once we got into our room and saw the Acropolis lit up at night, all my worries completely melted away."

"Fantastic location, easily walkable to the main attractions and Syntagma Square for airport buses. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. We truly enjoyed our stay at Plaka Hotel."

"I recently stayed at Breeze Boutique Hotel for 15 nights. While the location is convenient and the hotel is generally clean, there were a few issues that negatively impacted my experience. Upon arrival, I encountered a serious problem with my reservation. I had booked 15 nights through Trip.com and had received a confirmation with a valid reservation number. However, the hotel’s system only showed a 2-night booking. Despite showing my booking confirmation, the front desk did not accept it and told me I had to email Trip.com to resolve the issue myself. After several emails and much back-and-forth communication, Trip.com eventually sent a confirmation that the hotel finally accepted, and the situation was resolved. Additionally, the rooms are not well soundproofed. Street noise easily comes through the doors and windows, making it difficult to sleep at night, especially for light sleepers. Another issue was with the elevator. When you were inside and it moved up or down, it made a noise that was quite disturbing. While I appreciate the staff’s efforts and understand that booking errors can happen, I believe better coordination with booking platforms and improved sound insulation in the rooms—as well as reducing elevator noise—would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. "The location is pretty good, about an 8-minute walk from the subway station, and you can get there directly from the airport. There are plenty of food options nearby, and it's very close to the street BBQ place. I arrived quite late that day and was assigned an upper bunk. I mentioned that I had requested a lower bunk when booking, and they ended up giving me a four-person dorm room all to myself! Although someone did check in in the middle of the night. The room is spacious, has a private bathroom, and even comes with a complimentary beer or soft drink. The rooftop bar is excellent, offering direct views of the Acropolis. The room's cleanliness is also very good. It has lockers, hangers, and a balcony, so drying clothes is not an issue."

Kahvaltısı yurtdışı standartlarinin çok üzerindeydi. Meyvesinden kuru yemişine kadar her şeyi düşünmüşler. Bir daha Atina'ya gitsem yine bu otelde kalırım. Ayrıca personellerin hepsi güler yüzlü ve samimiyetle yaklaştı. En son gün otelden çok erken ayrılmamız gerekiyordu. Kahvaltınin ücreti önceden ödendiği için 11 kişiye ayrı ayrı kahvaltı paketi hazırlayıp verdiler. Havaalanında yedik ve yumurtaya kadar koymuşlar. Mükemmeldi çok teşekkür ediyorum 🙏🏻"

"The apartment was better than I expected. The room was tidy and new, and the price was good value compared to other places nearby. It's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, which was perfect for us as we were out early and back late. The only downside is that it's close to the main street, so there's some traffic noise, but my husband and I are both heavy sleepers, so we didn't mind. Highly recommended."

"Dave Red in Athens is definitely a hotel with character! If you want to stay somewhere not so ordinary, then this is your choice. The hotel's public spaces and rooms are extremely clean and very tastefully designed with a nod to the building's historical past. The colour palette is in contrasting dark/red tones which gives it unique atmosphere. The main highlight of my room was the super comfy bed and the balcony with a street view. In terms of the size, the room wasn't the biggest but more than enough for a single person. I would like to especially emphasise the staff of the hotel who were extremely helpful, spoke fluent English and gave valuable recommendations. It felt like they really care about their guests' comfort and want them to have best experience in Athens. All the amenities were top notch: breakfast, gym (small but functional), iron and ironing board on request, and a little rooftop space with a communal hot tub😍"

"The hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes. As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel. The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air. There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed. There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right on the main street, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Syntagma Square metro station. The older gentleman at the front desk initially seemed a bit discriminatory, assigning us a room right next to the elevator which also had an unpleasant odor. After we requested a change, he gave us a balcony room. The hotel features a rooftop bar where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and stunning night views of the Acropolis. Hotel guests also receive a 10% discount there."
