"I live in Japan and travel there a lot. I spent four nights in this hotel, which claims to be eco-friendly, but like other hotels recently, uses this as a pretext to cut costs. Indeed, the room was only cleaned once, and the disposable toothbrushes provided on the first day were only replaced a second time during the entire stay. The sheets were never changed, and the bed was made only once. The used towels weren't collected daily. Is offering disposable toothbrushes conceivable with a supposed commitment to environmental responsibility? No. Does not making the bed have anything to do with this so-called environmental responsibility? No. Offering a smoking room near the reception area that reeks of smoke in the hotel entrance... is that eco-friendly? No. Is it respectful of non-smokers? No."

Today, we experienced another accident in the mountains. During this difficult time, one the staff was incredibly kind and supportive. She helped us communicate and translate with the police, ensuring that we could clearly explain the situation and receive assistance. Her help was truly invaluable in getting us safely rescued. In addition, the hotel manager and staffs generously drove us from the police station back to the hotel and assisted us with the necessary follow-up arrangements. Their patience, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond their duties meant so much to us. We are truly grateful for the care and support we received. It has been a blessing to be guests at Oosado Hotel, and we will always remember your kindness."

"Mir hat vor allem die Einrichtung der Zimmer sehr gut gefallen. Auch das Personal war wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit. Unter anderem durfte ich mein Fahrrad im Eingangsbereich parken und statt nur mein Gepäck zwischenzulagern ließ man mich sehr viel früher einchecken. Die Lage ist natürlich abgelegen aber wunderschön mit genug Ausflugsziele in der Nähe und tollem Ausblick. Es gab auch ein Sternenhimmel Event, das viel besser war als ich erwartet hätte. Das Essen war auch lecker, sehr gehoben aber nicht übertrieben."

"The house is a traditional Japanese building and looks rather like a museum than a hotel. Some facilities are run down and repairs are overdue. However the owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful, they even drove us to the ferry terminal, although we didn't ask for."
