"Location in downtown Baltimore was excellent, a block from the Convention Center, across the street from a subway station and 2 blocks from a light rail station - subway runs east-west ( including the Inner Harbor) and light rail runs north-south for over 40 miles with 1/2 hour direct connection to/from the BWI Airport. - one way tickets on both are $2.  My corner room on the 9th floor was spacious with good views. I had business all afternoon in the area with no car - when I asked if I could check my luggage 4 hours before check-in time, they actually checked me in then and there and gave me my room key at noon.  The lobby is elegant and the the room rate was very reasonable for a downtown location hotel."

Daily Mandatory Charge includes: Tourism Improvement District Assessment In the heart of downtown, near Baltimore Harbor, Harbor East, Little Italy, and Fells Point. The Convention Center and Oriole Park are just 5 minutes away, and there’s great dining right outside our doors. If you need suggestions on local favorites and must-see spots while you’re here, just ask our friendly staff.

"Staying in this dangerous city was unsettling. Parking is across the street, and the overnight fee is $25. The front desk was generally friendly, but the free breakfast was minimal. The luxurious ocean view photos on the homepage don't reflect the hotel at all, so be prepared. The free coffee at the wet bar was delicious, though! The room was very clean, but it had an expensive alarm clock that was incredibly frustrating. The previous guest had set it to 6 p.m., and it kept going off, preventing us from getting a good night's sleep. The soundproofing on the windows was also mediocre, and the roar of cars was a constant. The supermarket chain here suggests the city's overall affordability and wealth are low. The crime rate is reportedly quite high. I recommend stopping by for seafood; there's no need to stay here!"

"The hotel staff is exceptionally kind from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The location is a few blocks from the harbor and located next to Lexington Market. The breakfast was good with a waffle machine, eggs, sausage, yummy oatmeal with a wide variety of add-inns. Blueberry compote and candied pecans were my favorites. The room is spacious and clean with comfy beds and pillows. Overall I definitely would recommend. It's was a great price for the service. Newly renovated!"

"The room was very nice. When I checked in I asked about parking. They said I could go around the corner and park, it is connected to the hotel, and it would cost $29 for the night. When I left the hotel and tried to get out of the parking lot, the cost is $69! I drove around to ask about this problem, the girl at the front desk had no idea. She took my email address and said the manager would contact me when he arrived. It has been 24 hours and I have not heard from the manager. Obviously I’m not very important to this hotel so I will never stay there again. They lied to me when I checked in and then never responded to my complaint. I would have booked a different hotel if I knew I was going to be charged $69 parking for one night! Stay somewhere else."

Outstanding
GGuest UserI booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

GGuest UserOverall satisfied. The hotel felt safe and has a nice vibe. Location is in a less sketchy part of downtown, although I wouldn’t necessarily go for a night walk in the area. Conveniently located to some surrounding attractions like the Inner Harbor and Lexington Market. The room was spotless clean. The maintenance could be improved as there were some broken closet doors and holes in the wall. I informed the friendly staff and they told me they were aware. Other than that, well equipped and everything was there and working. Cleaning is not daily and depends on the length of your stay. However, if you needed anything you can ask and it could be provided. The breakfast buffet was okay, nothing special. There was a limited, but enough options. For fresh fruits they only had red apples, every day. The bar was closed for lunch during my stay. They had a small business area with a computer and a printer for guests. The gym was well equipped. The staff were friendly, welcoming and you can tell everyone was trying to make the guests have a nice experience. I would consider and return.

RRickAh, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

AAnonymous UserHere, I need to tip for daily cleaning and hygiene. The next day I also gave the result that I put a lot of towels and didn’t make it 😢. Breakfast is also very simple (there are three varieties). If you can choose to book without breakfast, it is more cost-effective. Coffee is 5 dollars a cup. There is no smell. There is no water in the room (the front desk told me that there is an empty bottle to go to the floor to get water (the result is that the equipment is broken 😅), parking is not free for 50 dollars. This price is the price of a standard five-star hotel in China, this time I really stepped on the pit.

AAdam WilliamThe Hotel Indigo in Baltimore is one that provides comfort, access to quality restaurants that represent diverse cuisines, and customer service with personality and a smile. The food menu is sufficient and the bartenders are well versed in creating whatever cocktails you may enjoy. The rooms are quiet, the water pressure is strong, and the cost is competitive. I stayed 2 nights and when I checked out late, the hotel had no issue with it. I was able to walk from the Penn Station to the hotel with no difficulties.

GGuest UserI stayed for 4 days, but only cleaned the room for one day and replaced the amenities once. The hotel policy is that way, but only cleaned the room once every 2 days and no water or toothpaste toothbrush. Especially 3 people booked, but only 2 people were provided in the room. There was no bottled water in the room, so it was uncomfortable to ask the counter every time. Parking should be parked in the paid parking lot, but I got in the public parking lot in front of me in the evening and came out in the morning, and it cost $70. The belly button was bigger than the belly button, so it was a burden

GGuest UserOverall it was ok, after all the price was not cheap. But the service attitude was really bad, they spoke in a low voice, and they were unwilling to answer me when I asked again. The next day I asked the front desk to help me book a car to the airport. I booked it for 6:50 the night before, but when I went there at this time in the morning, the same front desk said that I didn't tell them just now, so I thought I didn't want it, and then I had to wait for 22 minutes again, and the price was twice as much as the taxi we took from the airport!

XXUThe location is a bit biased and suitable for renting a car. There is no place to eat around, but I feel that the restaurant is good, there are meals at 11 o'clock in the evening. The standard American breakfast is quite rich. The hotel bed seems to be quite tight and needs to be booked in advance. The room and its supplies are also good and worth recommending.
