El Segundo Hotels with Wifi

"I booked this hotel for a layover in Los Angeles. They offer a free airport shuttle, but be aware: there are two Hilton Garden Inns near the airport. For *this* one, you need to call the hotel for a pickup, whereas the other one doesn't require a call. After collecting your luggage, head to the 'hotel parking' area and look for the red sign. Call the hotel, tell them which terminal you're at, and provide your name and phone number. They'll send a car to pick you up within 15-30 minutes. (Initially, we got on a Hilton Garden Inn shuttle at the red sign, only to find out it wasn't the correct hotel when we arrived!) Bottled water in the room costs extra, but there's complimentary iced water available in the lobby. There's also a small convenience store. Rooms don't come with toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. About a 10-minute walk away, there's a commercial area with an In-N-Out Burger and a 7-Eleven. Remember to book in advance, as prices tend to increase closer to the date."

"The hotel's location is very close to the airport, with plenty of convenient shuttle services. The room was clean and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. There's a large supermarket, a burger joint, Starbucks, and convenience stores nearby, making it perfect for guests transferring flights the next day. The breakfast was Western style and a bit monotonous, but to my surprise, the restaurant had a hot water dispenser. This was very convenient for making tea or instant noodles if you're not a fan of Western food."

"Facilities were very clean. Room was very comfortable. I only ate at FLORA but the drinks and food were very good. The view was fantastic and it was nice to relax in the sun! The staff were excellent; everyone was very friendly and helpful and had some nice conversations. The check-in texts weren't intrusive which was appreciated. I can't remember where yall purchased the local baked goods, but the chocolate cookie was amazing! Location was perfect as it was near SOFI Stadium and near the airport. The area was quiet and other than the person above me being somewhat loud, the noise level was low."

"This hotel is relatively close to the airport. We drove to the departure level by ourselves. It took 10 minutes due to a bit of traffic jam. The parking fee was a bit expensive, costing 30 dollars a day."

Paulina at the front desk was especially professional and kind, providing some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced in a while. "The hotel is not taking responsibility. We had a 9am flight from LAX, and booked the airport shuttle for 630am for five of us (we booked two rooms), and only 2 of us can get on, the remaining 3 needed was left behind. We went back to the hotel and ask for help. The front desk person said that the shuttle services was shared by the next door hotel AC Hotel by Marriott. I asked her why we didnt get on even booking, and he confirmed only five of us were booked and we should be on the shuttle. Then she lukewarmly called the other hotel and they said that the other hotel is trying to find someone to approve the uber expense. We eneded up have to get an uber for us for $20USD, around 655am. We barely made our flight. Here is the issue 1. the 630 driver said it happened all the time. 2. the AC hotel staff said they are not authorized to approved the uber since the manager is out of readch and possibly sleeping. 3. both hotels, Hyatt and AC, didnt seem to care about booking and reservation. 4. the front desk staff was lukewarm to help, after I repeatedly asked her to make the call, then told me that AC hotel was handling. The Hyatt hotel is fine but the shuttle service is totally unacceptable. It ruins the reputation of Hyatt."

"I would like to request a correction to the hotel name first. It is not Courtyard Marriott Los Angeles LAX El Segundo, but Sonesta select lo Angeles LAX EL segundo. I heard the name was changed about two years ago. When taking the shuttle from LAX airport, I tried to board by showing ”Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX El Segundo,” but ended up getting off several times while carrying heavy luggage. Please check the shuttle bus carefully before boarding. There is a Sonesta shuttle bus, but it is for a different location. Please look carefully at the shuttle bus photo before boarding. Please book your arrival time at the airport the day before. The breakfast is more of a simple snack than a proper breakfast. If you expect a proper breakfast, you will be greatly disappointed. IN-N-OUT Burger is 3 to 4 minutes away. To get to Santa Monica Beach, you can take the K Line light rail, which is 10 minutes away, and transfer to the E Line."

"Two 1.8-meter beds, a separate room and a bathroom, two rooms and two halls. More suitable for family travel. You can cook your own food. 5 minutes walk from the subway station. There is a steakhouse at the door, and the Mother’s market is around half an hour’s drive from the airport. It is a bus stop."

"I stayed here because my flight was early. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking, including pots, plates, and cups, which was great. A room was available, so I was upgraded. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The only disappointment was that the staff on the night shift were rude. The hotel was supposed to cover the cost of an Uber ride to the airport, but I found out later that I had to ask the hotel to make the reservation, so I ended up paying for it myself. I recommend telling the hotel front desk when booking an Uber."
