"This place was absolute luxury. We stayed in the Alta Maria Suite - it was a very large room, with a large bed, comfortable bed and seating, large bathroom that had a great shower, kitchenette type area. The room was very modern and bright with nice views. This room was cheaper than others so not as good views as the other rooms but still spectacular. There are nine villas in the place, so it is very quiet and peaceful. The grounds and gardens are spectacular. The buildings are beautiful. The pool is very clean. There wasn't really seating around the pool with shade though during the day. The restaurant area and terrace were really beautiful places to sit. We ate at the restaurant on one of the nights - the food was fine - not amazing, but fine - but the views and sunset and setting was spectacular and made it worthwhile, though there are a lot of bees! The only downside was when ordering drinks etc from the cafe/bar there was no menu provided despite trying to ask a few times so we just had to say what we wanted without knowing what is available or what the price is. In the end the prices were reasonable but if we would have known this before we may have ordered drinks more often during our stay etc - menus with prices should be around for all to see, particularly considering that they offer room service too but again one does not know what is available. The hotel is a short drive to Aeropoli and also to the beautiful village of Limeni, one does need a car, there is parking and it is all inside a very secure area. The landscape and setting and views are really spectacular and peaceful and it's definitely worthwhile staying here and I would highly recommend it. It's obvious that the owners are perfectionists as everything is so pristine and clean and manicured."

"Quite possibly the best hotel I will ever encounter; this was my third stay here. The hotel's location overlooking the bay is fabulous; it means that all rooms offer the same extraordinarily beautiful view -- and they have private balconies from which to enjoy it. Rooms are clean and stylish; breakfast has wonderful variety; "snacks" in the cafe are very good and in fact served me as dinner every night, as I didn't want to bother with parking in the village. Atmosphere in the public spaces is pleasantly busy, in the private areas pure tranquillity. And the hotel's greatest asset is its staff; I can't speak highly enough about how genuinely pleasant and helpful they are. One word of caution: the hotel is constructed on the model of a traditional Maniot village -- on several levels connected by steep stone steps. If you have any mobility issues, contact the hotel before booking to make sure you get a room close to the reception and breakfast area. I ran into this issue and, fortunately, was able to change my room -- thanks, again, to the enormously helpful and considerate staff. I hope and pray I'll be back."

"The positive interaction with the face of the hotel, manager Sophi, began before our arrival. Sophi embodies the highest level of hospitality, paired with genuine candor and her generously sharing favorite local spots the moment we arrived. It was a pleasure to chat with her each morning. She took time to speak with every guest and made sure we were enjoying our stay. There's an easy, welcoming vibe at Anemos that you notice right away, and it's clearly the result of Sophi and the lovely family who own the hotel. It's rare to be so in sync with someone's recommendations, but every single one Sophi gave us was spot on. Instead of endlessly researching where to go each day, we just worked our way through her list, one perfect spot after another. Daily breakfasts were home cooked and delicious, and the smiling faces of the entire team were a constant throughout our stay. The well appointed rooms suited our family of four well. The layout gave us space to relax and separate after a full day out exploring Sophi's favorite local spots. There are hotels right on the water in Gerolimenas. I would still choose Anemos, hands down, for its hospitality and easygoing atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for making this trip truly special and beyond memorable."
