Jeddah Marriott Hotel Madinah Road

The environment, service, and facilities are all very good. However, taking a taxi from the hotel to the airport is ridiculously expensive. The breakfast is so-so.

I am staying at Carawan Hotel Jeddah since 8 days and have a reservation for another 4 nights Yesterday I found couple of small cockroaches in the room and complained about them to the receptionist and he started smiling as if this a a normal thing for him and promised me to change the rooms within no time Nothing happened and I went out and came late Today again I found cockroaches crawling on the bed and went down to the reception immediately and again he promised to change in half an hour Waiting for an hour I went down and was told that the “labours” are on break and will be back after half an hour I asked him to connect me to the manager and he refused to give me his no and upon my insistence he called him and His excellently the manager refused to speak with me and I was told to go back to the room and wait I am also refused refund as this is a prepaid online reservation house keeping is on ”request” and not on daily basis
Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway

Satisfactory aspect The hotel is just around the pavilion, about 15 minutes walk, but the weather in Saudi Arabia is awkward. Take a taxi for 10 dirhams and download Careem is very convenient. The hotel is very nice, booked a twin room for me, thank you very much. Housekeeping is also very good. But I think I can do better. People are very enthusiastic, and the key points are sent in time. The service is very good. When I go to breakfast for breakfast once, breakfast ends at 10:30, I go to eat at 10 o'clock, and I clean up after eating for a while. There are not many types of breakfast, and the scope of self-help is small. It is a lot worse than the Riyadh holiday inn. Also, is the bathroom wall inside the four-star hotel dirty, can't be seen, is it serious?

The place was clean and tidy, although I had a hard time finding the entrance of the hotel. I was not able to see the pool since I checked in late at night but next time I will be availing their amenities.

The hotel is next to the Chinese restaurant and it is very convenient to eat. Geographically, it is not in the city center, but it is very close to the Red Sea Mall and the pavilion. It is convenient to travel and use Uber for taxis. Girls must wear black robes when they go out.

I stayed for 4 days in this hotel as part of quarantine package in the month of feb 22. Amazing room with all digital controlled circuits be it curtains, room lighting, cooling system. Beautiful decorated spacious rooms. Food was better than expected. Being vegetarian, I know my options were going to be very limited but chef really helped me by making veg pastas and falafel sandwich etc. I would like to stay here again, for sure not under quarantine package, to explore more on the available facilities. Here I would like to give special thanks to the reception team (sorry I forgot the name of the lady and the guy on the reception ) who were always ready to helped me and assist at each and every steps during quarantine. A will surely stay again in this hotel.
