Benvenuto Hotel & Conference Centre

I can see that this was a great place to stay in its heyday but has declined over time. Positives are it’s location, friendly and accommodating staff (which one would expect in the hospitality industry) and a reasonable price. Negatives that I experienced were that the place was well worn, tired and in need of some investment. Examples are, worn carpets, hole in the dining room table cloth, frayed bath towels, basin not draining quickly due to matted hair in the strainer (fixed same day), broken suitcase rack (fixed same day), evidence of a dampness problem in the plaster on the wall near the window, extractor fan in the bathroom is dark brown with years of dust on the grill in the ceiling, no Barman on duty - was served by reception staff though. Apart from a buffet breakfast there are no meal facilities at all, not even for a light snack. I have to wonder whether this is actually a hotel or just a conference venue with accommodation. If it is indeed a hotel then this is definitely not the four star establishment despite having four stars next to their name on their website. Would I stay here again? Possibly, but only because it’s convenient & I know what to expect.
Road Lodge Randburg

I am a long-time guest at Road Lodge Randburg and the staff always gives good service. I was even able to ask for a room with my preferred view and they were already aware of my preferences and were happy to offer one. I was pleasantly surprised by new services like the restaurant and online options. This particular branch is always improving which I appreciate. AC works just fine. Great stay.

This homestay is nice and has a swimming pool. The kitchen is open plan and only has a microwave. Chinese food cannot be made. The landlord is an old couple. Quite kind. Housewives like to talk. Her husband, Gary, was an editor of a motorcycle magazine, but the magazine failed. Provide bread slices, milk, 4 kinds of fruits. Stayed two nights and was very quiet. There are no buses in South Africa and it can't be too dangerous to take them. It's not expensive to use UBER to go out. 36 rand taxi to the nearby shopping center.
The Fairway Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

This hotel has lived 3 times. The quality of the environment and the interior and exterior of the room, did not have to say, very good. The beer cola in the refrigerator is free of charge and is free to drink. The path inside the high ball is free to go. But very long. Go back and forth at least 3 kilometers. The only problem is that the breakfast is all Western. Coffee black tea bread, bacon ham, etc., only mushrooms and fried tomatoes. . . The service can't talk about anything, the reception desk is very friendly and polite. Going to the spa center, there is only a sauna room, no big pool, or a bathtub in the room.

Located approx. 30-45 mins from JNB airport, apposite Ferndale Mall. Room is definately VERY small, ok for a stay as single, for couples it would probably challenge your marriage :-). Aircon, tv with limited channels on the table, why not put it on the wall, strong wifi, coffee/tea, safe in the bottom of the cupboard. Bed was comfy. Finally a hotel who offers smoking rooms, however its in need of a scrub and the chair should be removed, its dirty and it would make some space. No water provided !? Bathroom is also very small, soap dispensers, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Cleaning and towels provided every day. Breakfast served from 6:30 (7am in weekends) good selection, fresh and tasty. Premises well kept and clean. I found staff to be very friendly and helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I am still waiting for my invoice the check out lady promised me.

The tranquility is everywhere, and the small sparrows are all complete. Safe and quiet. Surrounded by clean nature, it is easy to relax and easy to deepen. Diet has better service.
