Quality Hotel Coventry

This is Four Stars based on price and value. Now, clearly not a 4 star hotel, but definitely clean and tidy, great value, lovely staff and a great spot for our football team stay over. £5 to park seems a little unnecessary to be honest. Also, the shower could do with a upgrade. If you are looking for cheap and very cheerful, get booked up.

We arrived late in the afternoon and soon after putting our luggage in the rooms, we repaired to the bar in order to have a meal. We ordered our food and found a suitable table. We had a reasonable wait for the meal which indicated to me that it was been freshly cooked, The meal arrived and it was nicely cooked and presented. After the meal it was back to the rooms and got sorted for travelling to a show at the NEC. We had noted the bar would be shut at 2300hrs and due to show timings, travelling time and traffic, we did not get back until 2259hrs. We again repaired to the bar for a nightcap and we were attended to without any huffing and puffing usually associated with an arrival so close to closing time. The following morning it was down to have our breakfast which had plenty of choice and again was nicely cooked In summery all I can say is that the hotel was clean and tidy, the food was well cooked and presented and all the staff that we met, were pleasant, professional and helpful. I recommend this hotel

An excellent clean, comfortable and good value hotel with friendly welcoming staff. The rooms were far better than expected and we will have no problem in returning there in the future. The bedrooms were large and well furnished, desk and USB power points and two easy chairs. Did not have the opportunity to sample the restaurants but the looked good.

The pillows were Very good! I was given a room upgrade, which was Very good news! Very comfortable bed and all amenities provided were very good! I was a little early for an Excellent tasty breakfast, but the very smart staff coped admirably!

All I wanted was a quiet relaxing night away, what I ended up with was the opposite. On arrival I was told about the £5 parking fee which to me is a joke. I was given my room which when I entered had clearly been used and not cleaned since the last guest. So back to reception I went and was given a second room which was fine and without problem. So at just after 11pm I was woken up by to 2 others guest entering my room and switching the light on. I called out that the room was taken and they retreated. I'm guessing my room was given accidentally to them but in my opinion this is unacceptable. So I then tried to go back to sleep untill around 11.20 pm when the lady from reception was then knocking on my door. When I answered the door she wanted to know what my name was??????? Really!!!!!!!! Still dont what that was about. Eventually I got back off to sleep. At around 6am the following morning I was again woken by other doors being knocked on and constantly doors being opened and shut for about half an hour. It sounded like a coach party that needed to leave early. When i checked out I mentioned the events from the night before and the staff were apologetic but it didn't solve the ruined stay. I won't be back.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel on our coach holidayto the cotswolds, we upgraded our room to the King size room which was lovely and the breakfast and evening meals were lovely. We would definitely stay again.

Once again we have had a fantastic weekend at the Quality Hotel Coventry thanks to the dedication of the staff. Lovely comfortable rooms, great food and amazing staff. A big thank you from all the members. We are now looking forward to next year.

We had a lovely stay the young man on reception called Chris was so helpful and professional he was a proper Gentleman. The only down side is charging 5.00 per night reg parking can understand it for 1 night but not if your stay is longer.
