Beach Hotels in Kep

This is a very good hotel than I thought. When I asked why the price was so high, it was worth it. Breakfast wasn't good, and there were a lot of ants and various bugs in the room, but it's a beautiful hotel that you want to come again.

Nice place to relax, recommend for family and couple. Location is good near the market.💙

We stayed at the Vakara for 7 nights during our visit to Kep. The hotel is new and modern and the rooms are very large as is the bathroom. The gym is very well equipped and probably the best one we have used on our travels. The breakfast was a la carte which was very nice and plentiful. We also had a few lunches and dinners at the hotel which were also very good. The staff were excellent and a special mention to Suphat who was running operations and dropped us to Kep beach, the Kep National Park and to the pharmacy to pick up some medication, most helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated about a mile from the nearest beach or slightly further away from Kep beach but this is only a short tuktuk ride or a pleasant walk to reach. This is a large modern hotel with all the mod cons and would definitely recommend.

My first trip to Cambodia in 10 years, my first veranda resort in 10 years, I decided Cambodia as my first travel destination after Corona because I wanted to go there. It's been quite a while, but it's still a beautiful place. The breakfast prepared every morning was also delicious! A glass of mojito while watching the sunset at the infinity pool! I think it will be an unforgettable memory. The staff always welcomed me kindly, so I always felt welcome during my stay. If I ever go back to Kep or Cambodia, this is the kind of place I want to stay again. I hope you stay there for a long time.

Beware : Health Risk . Heavy algae in pool can be major health risk . Advised hotel one month ago and now even worse than before . Green algae can be hazardous to health but they just laugh and do nothing . Pool is the centerpiece to the hotel but now very poor condition . Sad to see that they build a beautiful swimming pool but they don’t take care . Makes me angry when they just laugh and disregard . Won’t come back .

My party of five arrived in Kep today at 6:30 pm. It was dark, and after five hours of traveling in a mini-van, we got a tuk tuk to take us to Kep Bungalows. We had reserved three rooms - 2 standards and a superior. When I entered my standard room, the smell of mold and sewer hit me. The walls were disgustingly dirty and there was a hole in the upper corner of one wall. And I am not exaggerating when I say that there was a thick coat of dust on the fan. Then I heard a knock on my door. It was my daughter. Their room, which was right next to mine, was just as dilapidated as mine. With our bags in our hands, we went to our friends’ room. Their room was nice. We told them that we were not staying. Suffice to say, when they saw the stark contrast between their superior (R3?) to our standard room (A4 & A5), they were shocked. When we explained our concerns to the desk people, they said it could not be dirty because the rooms were cleaned that morning and the man said he personally checked the cleaning himself. My son-in-law, the desk woman, and an older child went to see the room. The boy came back after a few minutes and confirmed it did stink. Then a few minutes more passed and the woman and my son-in-law came back. The woman said we had dirtied the room. Really? We were there for about 2 minutes and knew it was not going to work. When asked about the holes, she said it was just the rats (plural) and they had put tissues in the hole for that reason. Rats?! We were told, “It’s the jungle.” Uh, no it’s not. The room, they argued, is the standard room and we should have paid the higher price for the better room. We explained that we were not complaining about the size of the room, but our concern was of the cleanliness of the room. Also, when showing them the pictures on Agoda, they said we should have known those were “old photos.” What? It was, we explained, more like false advertisement and that they should update the photos so people knew what to expect. We wanted to take pictures, but they said no. By this time, the man had reached a point that started to make us uncomfortable. A few of us had already witnessed his hands balling up and was quite agitated. We called tuk tuk driver who had given us his card and spent the next hour calling several hotels to see if they had three rooms available, which were not easy to find because of the holiday, and driving to some of them to ask if we could see their rooms because we did not want to be fooled by pictures again. *My daughter and son-in-law are fluent In Khmer. The other three, including me, have been learning the language for 10+ years.

The entrance to the hotel is relatively hidden, and I missed the entrance at first. The environment is very quiet and relaxing. The waiter is very friendly. The room is clean and tidy. There are not many facilities in the hotel. It is worth booking again.

Only eight bungalows hidden in the trees, a very pleasant swimming pool at all times of the day, excellent cuisine and a joyful team atmosphere. The boss is nice and its valuable tips. The boss singes and rides a lot. They are responsible for booking tuktuks, taxis and motorcycle rentals. Laundry at 100 m. The proximity to the road may be scared but is really not a problem.

The hotel is not bad, close to the beach, a few steps away from the crab market, and there are many restaurants in front of the hotel. Although the hotel’s breakfast is simple, it’s not bad,

The most luxury and private resort i’ve have stayed at Kep. The room was very decent, tidy, cleaned, and especially the facilities and amenities . It’s amazing for couples like us. We felt so comfortable right from the start since we first met with receptionist. They were so friendly and warmly welcome. The food was so good, I recommend crab cake and smoked salmon as for your lunch. The swimming pool is also a good space to relax and enjoy the fresh air with a large green grass garden. Next time I’ll try to stay at least 2-3 days. It’s worth the price to stay there.
