The staff is very nice & efficient. We noted it’s a smoking room after check-in, and the staff arranged another non-smoking room for us as requested upon booking. The swimming pool locates on the rooftop, with a rooftop bar & restaurant. Located near the city center, close to lots of local food & restaurants.

New experience to stay in such hotel, superb service, excellent care of the guests, beautiful deco and set up. Highly recommend for any potential guests to sabah. The standard review only provide 5 stars rating, personally I give ritz residence, miminum 8 stars ratings. Things to improve : The lifts, for those driving, need to make it more inconvenience.

Had the best amazing trip to this hotel. And Kudos to Nigel the receptionist whom help us alot and the staff who is always there for us when we need. We really2 enjoyed the stay. The view is superb! And they helped us to set up the room for birthday. And the staff is always cleaning our room.

The Le Meridien KK a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The location is just perfect, right at the city centre, facing the sea. Beautiful sunset view!! There are many places to eat within walking distance and the big malls are just 10mins away by Grab. The staff were very polite and always so helpful with suggestions of places to eat and shop. Great place to stay in KK!

Stay here for a vacation. This hotel is a beautiful hotel and a secret jewelry. This hotel is depending on the City Mall shopping complex building. There are many restaurants around the hotel, such as Paparich, Old City, Korean Restaurant, Japan Restaurant, KFC Outlet, Supermarket, Cinema and the largest bookstore. That's very suitable. Nothing for complaint. It recommends for travelers who want a short jump. If you are not disturbed, breakfast is good. Simple but not fill. The arrangements are usually beautiful and friendly. Muslim friendly toilet / bathroom.

Tang Dynasty Park used to be one of my family favourite hotels in Kota Kinabalu (since I was little). As time goes by, we realized this buliding is getting older yet I don't see any obvious improvement although we came quite often here and lots of construction happening nearby the hotel so let's not include the noise pollution as my reason to give this poor evaluation. Days ago, I booked one night stay at TDP thru bookingbasic.com. Before I reach KK, I call them for confirmation. Everything seems off since then... 1) The receptionist doesn't sounds happy with my call. Oh don't get me wrong, I myself served in hospitality field so I do know what I'm talking about. 2) The room : IS A MESS. I paid RM91 for the room so I won't have any high expectations but as I said earlier, I'm not a first-timer here but this time I feel so sad. The wallpaper......hm. I still can bear that so that's fine. The soap handler is rusty and crooked. The hairdryer hose is not attached to the hairdyer (I don't even have the mood to fix it by myself after seeing that and went straight to the bed lol). The loose sink tap makes me sighed everytime I want to use it. I can see dust on the table clearly. I understand I paid the lowest room rate but how could you let your guest sleep in that kind of unprepared room? At least I would appreciate a kind reminder about the room condition before I went in. Infact, I can get a better room at other place with the same price but I still choose TDP because of the familiarity. My only fault in this case is not directly made a complaint and ask for help that day. My family really loves this place, long time ago. I guess it won't be in the list anymore. (Anyway thank you for the newspaper. I like that part)

The breakfast is quite good, you can scramble your own eggs, and the interior of the Youth Hostel will also prepare hungry noodles, coffee, fried rice and bread. The privacy is very good, that is, there are fewer bathrooms, only two, and it takes a while to queue in the morning. The overall feeling is great! The boss and we are very happy to talk, we will speak Chinese, introduce us to shopping mall and specialty stores, and also call the car to take us.

Yes it is an old hotel but it has been refurbished. Simple lobby and simple deluxe room but everything is functional and refurbished and very clean. Mattress and pillows are ok but it is definitely not the luxury hotel standards (marriott, hilton, hyatt). Anyway this is a 4 star hotel and not 5 star therefore for the price it charges, it is value for money. Buffet breakfast is ok for 4 star hotel and there is a coffee machine.

Countless trip with this hotel. It is because this hotel near to the hospital and it make easier to me to going back to the hotel at the rest hours. When I arrived, it was late at night and i called the numbers listed on the post box. the first number i called asked me to call the second number instead. that was quite unprofessional. He should have called his colleague instead. When we arrived at the room, the flish in the toilet was not working. We've informed them but the lady said that it was cause the previous guest just checked out, which was irrelevant to my problem. the flush should be working at all times regardless of what time the previous guests checked out. Also, they did not make it clear on the agoda website that the Queen room did not have an attached bathroom. wished they were more transparent about their rooms got a full refund for not staying. Would not recommend this place
